Still, even though there are many interruptions, we’re getting some things more organically that formal interviews likely wouldn’t produce. As was stated in the beginning, these are just a couple military guys chopin’ it up with a bit of whiskey at center.

I believe what you said, leaders are born. E5 Sgt. Flowers took a team at FT. Bragg in 79 of mostly young PFCs that were just 22 plinkers growing up and took us all the way to the All Army Matches. 2 shooters had silver medals and i had bronze. I missed a silver with a malfunction on an individual match. It wasnt because of our greatness, but his ability to train us well. Everyone loved and respected him. The Army needs leaders like him. Thanks for this vid. I would love to have done sniper training. Flowers was a Gold Medal his 1st year shooting.

There was an older gent in the lane to my left, and I noticed the Trident on his cap. I asked him about it (this was not long after 9/11) and he replied "I work with the sniper school here." Very unassuming, generally nice guy.
They have their own compound out there and control of Range 11 so idk why he would go down to the Civ range to spit lead but I suppose anything's possible.
The unsquared away hippie should stop interrupting the Navy S.E.A.L. explaining everything about S.E.A.L. sniper training. Get a haircut and show some respect sir. Address that spare tire too.

I still know they both are bad ass, but if they communicate like this in the field somebody will end up doing something wrong. But good information I think many depending on how much we were drinking.
I watched all of the original team rooms. No where was Chris Kyle in any of them. The co author of his book was in them. Chris was already dead. I got maybe 10 second in and can’t watch anymore
You didn’t have to be a SEAL to go through the NSWG-1 Scout Sniper course. I was a Ranger from 2nd Ranger Battalion and was one of multiple Rangers who attended the school. I was Top Marksman in my class in 1998 when Senior Chief Crampton was in charge.
I agree with you on that comment. Im not saying that they are. I just think of my uncle who was shot down in WW2 and spent 2 years in a German prison camp. The only thing he ever said about it was that he wished he had a better blanket. Never ever said bother word. I guess we live in different times.

You have a keen sense there… I worked with him back in the day and he wasn’t someone who guys trusted if they knew how to read people. He was slimy then and my guess is he hasn’t changed

Marine corps scout sniper course out in Hawaii is much better than the seal sniper course. When I was in, they sent seals to the course.
