I've seen a neighbor taken back down by meth . She was a mother ' she had 2 babies living a normal life . Then her and her boyfriend had a relapse .. I never knew she used before . They boyfriend left and she's stayed with the babies ... all of a sudden I start to notice company alll day long .. then I'd wake up in the morning and see crazy stuff like someone putting back together a motor they took apart from their truck (seriously) or people cleaning out their car like stuff all over the parking lot . Then one night she had like 5 guys over and next morning she woke up and they pretty much cleaned her apartment out , took her lap top and anything valuable. By this time she had already lost her kids because her mom called cps and took them . She eventually got an eviction notice and still would not leave .. then maintenance came in one morning and took all her furniture outside . I drove up around 4 pm and they were all just sitting on sofas outside . Had it all set up like a living room . She posted alll her stuff for sale and people came to buy what she had out there . It's very sad story but it ends with her being sober today and living a normal life with her kids .
My husband is a meth addict. Has been most if his adult life. We are separated because of his drug use, have been since 2017. Except for a brief period from Nov. 2018 to February 2019. I had not heard from him and had no idea where he was or if he was still alive. He called me a few days ago. I asked if he was USEING. He wouldnt answer, but the topics of conversations made it obvious he was USEING. Talking about demons and Charles Manson living in a rock across the river from his camp. He has list his mind. He is in a video on Utube. Disaster at Italian bar, he is so skinny and the conditions he is living in is horrible. Trying to figure out how to have him commited long distance as I live in Georgia and he is in California. It is heartbreaking
congrats for getting 40k THAT silver plaque is not far!!! So happy you made it out, this episode really described how scary being in the game is. Happy you have been sober for a good while Jake!
Wow I was totally involved in your story! You’re great at telling your story. You’re very strong to be able to turn this around, and found your talent in film! Way to go Jake!
This will all end up helping out in the long run 😇 Not much editing to this one, just all raw talk. Which actually hindered me from posting this but I’m happy I did regardless.
You are so brave and vulnerable for doing this. I hope you know you are helping others doing this series. I’m Proud of you even though we haven’t met in person. 🙏Much love. 💗 congrats on the 40 k
Thanks Kitten! I do hope people take something away from this series. I know it's a lot different than what I usually put out but I felt like this is what I needed to be doing at the time 😊
So many parts of life are subject to the power of 'social'. I always told my family members, " Who your friends are says a lot about you." Better to have no friends than to befriend drug users and pushers. My sis never got away from fellow users that she met in rehab. In the end she knew practically nobody in the world but them.
What a story jake..most people dont get to tell there experience, because the addiction finish them first...your an example, you have character, your a good person.
You’re so right, and it’s really sad. I wish more people would post their stories. These are my favorite type of videos. I know it helps me at least to watch others and talk about subjects like such.

The world just never cease to prove how inhumane and horrible some people are. What exactly was the couple expecting to happen to you? I do not know what half of the words or expressions (stash, get one off someone, etc.) used implied. However, I am so happy that you have overcame all that you ve gone through. You are worth the best and most importantly the healthiest and stable life.
To be honest in a way the couple were fairly lenient in comparison to how lots of others are. If you choose to participate in a certain negative way of life you can't blame the people who grew up like that for the consequences of your choices.
Thanks you for sharing your story. u give me Hopes in life 😊 u dont know me but I pretty proud of you 😁 keep going is hard really hard but you can do it 😎
Your story is so relatable, I fought opiate addiction and have been clean for years. I do go to a suboxone clinic, but I'm tapering off of those as well. I truly believe someone will hear your story and make a life changing decision to get help. Thank you for sharing. You've definitely come a long way. You should be very proud of yourself and don't forget to give yourself some props every now and then.
Let’s stop the lovefest. I’ve seen addicts recover and get back to a “normal life” and never understand or even acknowledge the chaos and harm they’ve inflicted on children and loved ones. They were on another planet at the time. All very well to congratulate recovering addicts, but tbh, most of the harm they’ve done is to others, and I doubt they’ll ever even begin to understand how they’ve scarred others. If they recover, they expect others to somehow put it behind them, just like they do. That tells you everything you need to know about the person these people become
