Watched this show with my kids every week and grew to love it even more than they did, I think. Some of the frantic scenes between Boss Hogg and Sheriff Coltrane were absolutely a riot and I'd love to see some outtakes of that action. Don't know how they kept a straight face through it.

When I was a kid I knew where I was for 7 straight years at 9pm on Friday night. In front of the TV watching the Dukes of Hazzard. As I grew older and now watch the reruns with my 12 year old son I finally realized that it was Sorrel Booke and James Best that made this show. Boss Hogg and Roscoe were the comic genius of this show. I had a great childhood

My favourite T.V. show since childhood. Especially the episodes with Bo and Luke Duke portrayed by John Schneider and Tom Wopat. Thankfully it's still re-run/repeated on T.V. in New Zealand!

Im 43yrs of age and i just loved watching the Dukes whenever they came on...I started liking it more when "Daisy" got her Jeep, after that, they started including her in more stories and having some story lines of her own....Love when the bad guys had a bad girl and Daisy would be fighting her, Yeeeeeee-Haw...It was a dream come true when i got the chance 2 meet most of the cast a few yrs ago, in ENOS,TX of all places hahaha....I met Rosco, b4 he passed, he didnt want any pics taken of him or with him and he couldnt squeel like a baby anymore, he said it hurt his throat whenever he did it...Met Enos, he was nice, met Cooter, he was totally awesome, met Cletus, hes funny lol, Met DAISY, she was just as nice as she could be and what u expect her 2 be and more...:) Then i met Bo and Luke, they were awesome as well....:)

This was a funny show with a great cast and fabulous car chases. It's too bad the car became too controversial due to it's paint colors and they no longer allow the show on the Retro channels.

Well for 1 this was just about the humans that were in the show, and 2, it's about what they look like then and now. You maybe able to find a picture of Flash when he was on the Dukes of Hazzard, but it would probably be really hard to find a picture of Flash on how he looked like before he died.

Everybody did a good job portraying their characters but I preferred Denver Pyle as Uncle Jesse because he taught his own nephews and Daisy Duke to do everything by the book. Loved the series and the movie too. I was a teenager when it came out. I remember buying those chargers coronets cameros all the old muscle cars for 500-1000 dollars back then. Those were heady wild times. God rest those souls. Weve all had a helluva ride.
Dukes wasn't the same when Vance & Coy were on the show. I remember I was only 6 years old & I cried during every episode until Bo & Luke rerurned lol 😄
@@ADAPTATION7 John and Tom walked off because the company running the show would not give them the 6% merchandising royalties which were owed to them. I think John and Tom said they would have been happy with 3% but the company gave them nothing, so they left. This was in their contracts that was agreed to by both sides. Keep in mind the show made millions off selling any type of merchandise. Had about a season long dispute over it and in the end ultimately both sides decided to put their differences aside and come back to the show.
Love that show! I use to watch it for seeing the 'daisy dukes' and the car crashes. Boss Hoggs always determind to get them 'Duke boys' but always failed. Never was about race.

I've been watching the soap opera The Young & The Restless for four decades and I just recently found out Catherine Bach (Daisy Duke) had played the con artist mom character Anita. It never dawned on me till I looked carefully then I could see it was indeed her. She's aged lovely.
In my twenties I was so sure it was going to be different for me. Look at them....I’m not gonna end up old like them. In my thirties I had a sneaking suspicion I was was. Now in my forties I’m sure I’m wrong. When you actually weigh it up, life and events when recalled, is just a collection of moments. Make them count and look after your health!
I remember clear as day when my dad called my brother and I to come watch a new show on the tv he already had a bowl of popcorn and chips sitting on the livingroom floor with our pillows. The 1st episode The Dukes of Hazzard started with the classic intro a song that would for ever be etched into my brain and a car named The General Lee the STAR of the show....they just don't make shows like this anymore.😎😎😎

Everybody did a good job portraying their characters but I preferred Denver Pyle as Uncle Jesse because he taught his own nephews and Daisy Duke to do everything by the book.
Rest In Peace Mr Denver Pyle, James Best, Sorrell Brooke and others who have left us.

Loved the series and the movie too. I was a teenager when it came out. I remember buying those chargers coronets cameros all the old muscle cars for 500-1000 dollars back then. Those were heady wild times. God rest those souls. Weve all had a helluva ride.
Dukes wasn't the same when Vance & Coy were on the show. I remember I was only 6 years old & I cried during every episode until Bo & Luke rerurned lol 😄

@@ADAPTATION7 John and Tom walked off because the company running the show would not give them the 6% merchandising royalties which were owed to them. I think John and Tom said they would have been happy with 3% but the company gave them nothing, so they left. This was in their contracts that was agreed to by both sides. Keep in mind the show made millions off selling any type of merchandise. Had about a season long dispute over it and in the end ultimately both sides decided to put their differences aside and come back to the show.

Love that show! I use to watch it for seeing the 'daisy dukes' and the car crashes. Boss Hoggs always determind to get them 'Duke boys' but always failed. Never was about race.

I've been watching the soap opera The Young & The Restless for four decades and I just recently found out Catherine Bach (Daisy Duke) had played the con artist mom character Anita. It never dawned on me till I looked carefully then I could see it was indeed her. She's aged lovely.

In my twenties I was so sure it was going to be different for me. Look at them....I’m not gonna end up old like them. In my thirties I had a sneaking suspicion I was was. Now in my forties I’m sure I’m wrong. When you actually weigh it up, life and events when recalled, is just a collection of moments. Make them count and look after your health!
I remember clear as day when my dad called my brother and I to come watch a new show on the tv he already had a bowl of popcorn and chips sitting on the livingroom floor with our pillows. The 1st episode The Dukes of Hazzard started with the classic intro a song that would for ever be etched into my brain and a car named The General Lee the STAR of the show....they just don't make shows like this anymore.😎😎😎

I am a huge fan of the dukes of Hazard. All this bullshit about the "Confederate Flag" being a symbol of racism is bullshit. I love the flag because of this show. The wholesome country family, friends and Town. I get called a Racist because I have a replica General... it's really sad people are so closed minded. The past is the past...leave it that way. I am Canadian, read about the "Underground Railroad" before you scream about racism in my face... sad to see these actors gone. They brought alot of good times to my childhood and to my own children. In my family these people will live on forever. Every time my Truck, Car or Quad slides a corner or jumps a river I will always scream "Yeeee Haaaaw" lol
