Thank you sir. I’m Glad I came across this video. I been trying to get a neon green. I lower the ink limit in acrorip to 30% and the color came out exactly what I been looking for.
Yes, it's a lot of things. They've been trying to draw people to Bishop Arts District, to try and gentrify the area. Pleasant Grove is still a more dangerous place to be, if you don't know where you're at.
i just got an icc profile with new ink bc i have had it with throwing darts at the dartboard aka trying to figure out what ink limit settings makes my prints print out correctly . but i printed my first image and did a side by side and it looks no different!! im going to just say screw it and use these charts and hope they work out good for what i need.
It really depends on your ink, printer, and ICC profile (if you use one). I usually run my ink limit for color at 35%. I set my brightness to 120, but I am using a converted large format Epson printer.
Ok thank you. I have the L1800 I usually have my brightness at 110 contrast at 100 I changed my ink limit after your video and my colors matched the png better. Thank you for the video!
Wow! That's amazing! Thank you for sharing! I'm really looking for how to print neon like colors on DTF! Btw i saw a guy using real neon colors like pink and green. Did you know something about this process?
Thanks for the kind words! I will be breaking down my approach to neon/fluorescents, soon. You would definitely either need a printer that is dedicated for neon only or a printer that has at least 10 usable channels.
I’m using pro rip software and I don’t have the option to just do the overall color % like in acro rip so I can only adjust the % for each color so I see below yours each day 40 Is that true for the overall 30% you chose or I’m wondering what I would set mine too bc I am as well trying to get that color green too
The way ink limit percents work is the lower the percent; the darker the colors will be. I'm not familiar with Pro RIP, even though the software developer sent it to me. I haven't had a chance to install it.
I don't, but how you would do this would be to select the individual color ink limit, within AcroRip. If your blues appear more purple, I would recommend selecting the magenta channel and lowering the specific ink limit by maybe 5 or 10%, to start. Magenta should be what is causing your blues to turn that color. This is all my opinion, but I hope this helps
Do you know if you can print black light reactive neon colors? I just bought a 3 print head super large format printer for sublimation and also got fluorescent magenta and fluorescent pink, I am trying to figure out what is the best way to add the different colors
Thanks for your comment. I don't really like Cadlink, but I've had several people ask me to do this. I will see if one of my buddies will send me a license for it
I have the hardest time with like royal blue, pinks, corals, creams. I was just using business edition silhouette creating but colors I choose are wrong when print in acrorip 10.3. I put colors at 12 and white on 55 to get somewhat regular colors but still don't get colors like they are in most images?!
Hi! very nice and informative video. please tell how to install 3rd party icc profile to acrorip 9.0.3. i have tried by copying to cmyk folder , but not able to get in the list to select the profile icc. please help .thanks in advance.
I sell them. It would depend on what your budget is. I can also refer you to someone that is near you, if you're in another country. Please send me an email at info@eleganteditsco.com and I'll try to help you.
I don’t have a DTF printer I order the transfers only, a few so far but I noticed that the whites is a little thicker than I like on a halftone image in comparison to the rest of the art…the white feel a little thicker than the rest of the art work, could it be that i need to mess with my color settings on artwork or how can I get it to not feel so over saturated?
Order from two different people with one print I got his ink feel softer than the other transfer I bought but both had issues with that white ink being too strong
my designs are in AI using RGB color swatches. my question is do i need to convert RGB to CMYK or Pantone color Swatches in AI and then Save as PNG? what difference will it make if i export RGB color swatch png vs CMYK swatch or Pantone color swatches in DTF printing?
The whole time I was thinking a higher percentage was the better the color. Your printer is giving amazing colors. Thanks so much for this video.

Love the way you leave all the little bits in the videos, importing etc. Like you say, we can easily fast forward if we need to
I grew up in the Dallas metro. Been to Oakcliff. That area can be rough like Pleasant Grove.

Thanks for the chart man! Subscribed.
Thanks for sharing brother. Sydney,Australia
Very helpful information. Thank you for the in-depth tutorial!
20% it’s what I use for my color limit in Acro 10.3 anything higher than the color gets darker.

Oak Cliff in the house!
Hi, do you leave the brightness and contrast at 100? ive always had my ink limit at 50 and try to lighten it with the brightness.. TIA

Love the videos keep em coming
in the acro rip manual it recommends -
15% to 25% color
for 1440x1440 prints..
These values will vary, based on the printer model. At 15%, most prints would appear grainy, with a mixed dot size selected.

Where do I get those color charts?? Great video!!
Hey! Thanks for watching. I have included a google drive link in the description of this video.
Do you have a picture on blue. I'm having trouble my blue coming out purple.

Thanks for your comment. I don't really like Cadlink, but I've had several people ask me to do this. I will see if one of my buddies will send me a license for it
Do you use additional inks like Orange , green , Fluorescent magenta & Florescent yellow? Besides CMYK

@@elegant_edits hey I appreciate your response🙏🏽 I just order the transfers I wish I owned a dtf printer 🖨
Order from two different people with one print I got his ink feel softer than the other transfer I bought but both had issues with that white ink being too strong
Where did you get you your color charts for Illustrator
I have a commercial account, with Adobe Stock.
my designs are in AI using RGB color swatches. my question is do i need to convert RGB to CMYK or Pantone color Swatches in AI and then Save as PNG? what difference will it make if i export RGB color swatch png vs CMYK swatch or Pantone color swatches in DTF printing?
how do you take out backroad color ?
I usually just remove it in photoshop or I do it from picmonkey.com
So is there any way to print the neon and ignore the other colors so that they don’t lighten up?
Are you in The north Texas area. I would like to do business with you...
dtgrip can't find key lock
I would try uninstalling and reinstalling. Which version of Acro do you have?
