  • Learning to code can be confusing. Some will tell you it's easy, some will tell you it's impossible.
    Bobby Davis will tell you how it really is! ::hint - it's somewhere in between::

    Another good thing about making a new project with the knowledge from the tutorial is that when you're following along a tutorial you're receiving help from the course and following steps. When you have to do it on your own you start facing a lot of challenges and things just don't work out as easily so you really need to work your brains to make it work and that's when you really solidify the knowledge. Great advice and great channel. I wish I had the money to take your bootcamp I'm sure it's great.

    I was a little nervous before taking the quiz as I have a mechanical background. But I took the quiz and was able to get the top score. This gave me confidence to go ahead with my decision to learn coding and get into robotics and AI eventually. I didn't knew or heard about C# before I came across your videos. Your videos are very good and motivational as well as educational.

      Learning by doing is often the best method. I see that you are into programming, and I was initially interested in that idea too. But I have gotten more interested in the business aspect of things. But i thought, do you think it would be bad idea for us to work on a project together? I could handle the business aspect, while you learn and do the programming. This doesn't need to be a big project, but I think it would be could if we worked something out togheter. But I hope the focus of this partnership could be the process of making the project and collaborating. Please dont hesitate to take contact, and dont be ashamed of saying no if that's the case. If it is not a good fit, I am alright with that.

    what i'm thinking of is making 3 little games nothing complex, something simple like frogger or a pacman type clone maybe a mario type clone. but also a launcher similar to origin so you just download the launcher and download any of the games and launch them through the launcher and even update from the launcher. with bugtracker built in and an admin login through the site with a webmail-style to receive the bug reports. i might even go with a leaderboard for scores or something.
    i think this would look more impressive than just building 1 thing on its own. right? i'm a few months away from being able to do it yet but that's my ultimate goal that's how i vision it in my head.

    for me, as someone who teaches me everything, the hardest thing is the project itself, where to start ... I don't even know what it should look like, what it is and how it's built ... I literally know nothing

    • @CoderFoundry
      @CoderFoundry  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Start with webdev. Start learning by completing project based tutorials. After the tutorial build a a project like a bug tracker or something else you want to see completed. For UI look at other apps and see how they organize that information on a page.
