I care for an elderly couple who kept asking that I make this , I had to google it lol . I’ve never heard of this , I’ll be making them Friday for their dinner . Thank you for the step by step
I make them with 1 or 2 pounds of ground beef, 1 cup-ish uncooked basmati rice, an egg, and a ton wercercercercershireireshirercercershire sauce. Oh, and don’t forget the tomato sauce! I also use a pressure cooker because that’s what I have on hand. I put the worcershiretercershireircerrershireshheruiree sauce in the balls and the sauce. We also have them with rice!
Oh I love these..havent had them since I was a little Girl. Im not a huge fan of stuffed bell peppers, because I don't care for the mushy pepper...so this is perfect!!
I have another way I have made these many times the same ingredients except I cook them in Progressos French Onion Soup and trust me they are so delicious
My college roommate used to make these and I wanted to make them for my kids. I followed your directions but the rice did not cook out. I think more liquid needed to be added otherwise the rice comes our crunchy and uncooked.

We eat this at least once month. An Aussie staple just like apricot chicken. Great in slow cooker. Have to eat m with mashed spuds
basically unstuffed peppers. Yum.
I make these, but instead of water, I add a can of diced or crushed tomatoes to the meat. It adds just a little bit extra to it.
Just add in a Tbsp of grape jelly to the sauce. Goes to another level.
No

I use instant rice in a pressure cooker myself

Did u use short or long grain rice?
This is the best recipe for Porcupine meatballs I’ve found on utube. Thanx
Long grain rice is what my grandmother's recipe calls for. Hope that helps!
Can you do this on the stove top? My mom did it on the stove top!
I’ve never made them on the stove top but I remember my grandmother making them in pressure cooker on top of stove.
Just like my mom,and Nanna's recipe ♥️😉a childhood favorite!! With mashed taters 🤤🤤🤤😋
Crushed / diced tomatoes over the top instead of soup
