I remember mybar, Mr Pengelly. I had an incident with him that he took offence to, I was good at drawing so drew a cartoon called Mr Pengelly the screw on the telly, after Roger Mellie in the Viz comic. It depicted mybar doing bench presses with a female officer, I showed it to a screw who pissed his sides laughing at it and showed it to other screws, they suggested it went on the wing notice board and that’s when the trouble started for me. Mybar came to my cell and told me I was on governors report for insulting prison officers, even the decent screws thought it was bang out of order. He was a proper pr**k though.
Really interesting about getting a book published, we all think we've got a book in us lol but it's hard to get it into publication. Great advice and inspiration words from these two lads. Love this channel

Sam always comes across as a fair man. Will have a go if it's on but won't overplay a situation and get someone done for shit they ain't done. Fair cop kinda thing. Least that's what I've heard, deserves respect for that.

After watching this i am so happy that my mam and dad laid down the law to me and my brothers about not starting and getting into trouble but stopping it if it started on us. I raised my kids up the same way and now i am telling my grand kids the same thing. They all go yeah ok Grandad but they know that i am serious about it. Have to add this video is class because you are both telling it straight so respect to you both.

Your very, very welcome 🙏 No doubt I have a lot to catch up on, I think what your doing is ground breaking and the Kids of today are so lucky to have not only the wisdom but the suggestions and options on how to save them selfs a whole lot of , hurt, pain misery and regret.It’s of course a totally different world with cameras etc so crime how it used to be is gone. As you know too kids are more grown up at an early age, The warnings my Dad gave me warning me and giving great advice but as kids we don’t listen too our parents it’s so funny now as I think back now thinking awe, he’s old it’s different now, boom 💥 I’m his age and I’m not old !!!
The two things that he did say to me that stuck was never touch heroine needles ( in NZ ) touch it once , and your hooked on it, I did listen tried everything else but Coke. Advice relating to Men that I still use to this day is
, “Never trust anyone , that says trust me” ( especially car salesman 👨💼) lol
I walked a very fine line so never landed in jail, But I did get a charge of Dangerous driving, I rang him & said what am I going to do? Should I get a lawyer? I don’t know 🤷🏼♂️ You do these crazy things U work it out Love , so I got dolled up, my charges where speeding under taking a car on blind corner, & Over taking on bridge with double yellow lines with on coming Mac truck ( I was born to drive, so only looked dangerous) Anyway the first person up, they had a lawyer, some poor man going to work as baker 👩🍳 and crashed a bit into middle barrier as 4am still waking up he was Chinese ! Holy Cow 🐮 clean drinking record , slapped with $5000 fine, some community work. I had 15 years of speeding tickets before points and cameras . I decided to be my own lawyer!!! I thought my god I’m going to be f-ked now.that poor bloke was simply of to work !
They called my name , read out charges , I stood up and said ( in error ) Yes your majesty !!
The court burst out in laughter, I said I’m so sorry yes I did do that , I have been driving 30 years ( full lic at 15)
I’m very naughty but late for work , I should go to a dangerous driving class. The two old men with there funny wigs on had a chat ( I don’t think they understood fully what I did) Don’t be silly Fifi your been driving for 30 years you don’t need that at all you know how to drive , $100 fine , I couldn’t believe my ears ,nor the others I was so happy I found my self bowing up and down with 🙏 hands , I dont know why as In a kiwi . Rang dad who laughed and said your a tin bum. Anyway thanks for reading my rant, My whole Point I was trying to make is kids don’t listen to there parents, but now they have real men who have walked the walked , I so admire you and Sam as he’s telling how it really is & his own gov and staff would silent treat him because he was a decent screw with compassion, and he’s so right the abuse & cruel actions from others is deplorable. You know what your all doing in different ways is infact ground breaking history. 👌 And your both showed how real men act despite coming from the two different ends of Jail.

The is quite a few lads who got undercovers getting them to score a bag for them in town and they then got weighed off for like 3 years and its not like they was selling it, it was just a sorter. 3 year man and then theres them ipp's when the systems acting that way what are they teaching. Its good to know your having these type of discussions without the ego just caring to find solutions all round the board
