Im sixty ....i come from a Glasgow family that moved to Rice lane walton..then to kirkby....all my school was in kirkby in the sixties and seventies...St laurences and St Kevins...i was hardly in saint kevs it was so easy to bunk out...times where very different....I hung out with Mo Clarke ....Margie sister anyway....i went off on the journey....I left Kirkby begining of the eighties ....its been... intersting life...i still pop into the Johnny Todd to this day....because its where i grew up....it never goes away....im waffling blab dee blab ....best wishes to all... Brian should take a leaf out of some other well known crime figures books , and do tours where he does a q and a session and talks , meets and greets photos etc , i think he would be a lot more popular than he probably thinks , i couldnt be arsed to pay 25 quid to watch the likes of Carlton Leech prattling on but i,rd go and see Brian , a very engaging character .

I really enjoyed this and it goes to show people can change. People take different paths throughout life some good and some not so good, we look for someone to blame when it goes wrong. when you grow up without a role model guiding you things are going to skeewiff. If we all had parents who worked and gave you all the love,support and life advice then things would be dandy.I think what I am trying to say is that we are not born with a map to show us the best path to go down and we sometimes get lost looking for the right way and that sometimes some are lost forever. School rang and Dad said I'm taking you tomorrow to make sure you go and I said OK BUT I'LL COME HOME EITHER BATTERED OR HUNGRY, he asked why so I said COS IF THIS LAD ASKS FOR MY MONEY AND I'VE SPENT IT I'LL GET A HIDING! Dad says 'You giving our money? Taking you tomorrow'.
He said 'Just put your hand in your pocket like you gonna give him money, take your orthodox side on and ****not good**** tear ducts will squirt and give you a 6 second window to finish him, I don't care how you do, MY money. So I go over an do exactly as Dad said, was a fear thing. So without going into detail he was wiping his eyes so I dropped him ana bit more.
Funny thing years later me an the missus are in town and walking to a club and get pushed back saying YOU CAN'T COME IN!! It was HIM! I shit, size of him but ya don't quit in front of ya bird so I knew I had my hands full then he laughed an said 'Ha! You just turned the color of boiled shite, come in I'm joking, have a nice night'!
Seen a few with Brian and there always a good watch so was expecting pity much the same but thought this was a lot better seen other sides to him and he opened up a lot more thought billy brought the best out of him 👍
