My only annoyance with the game is the fact that the females are smaller; it is disputable, but females are canonically larger and more aggressive than their male counterparts.

@@adigames it depended on the comic or novel, some stories the females are larger and more aggressive but in others they were just like they are in this game, there's just no continuity between writers
@@jameswagstaff984 I looked into it and in the film variants they are smaller but in the Expanded Universe sections they are larger. So maybe there are different tribes or clans /species of Predator that have different variations.
The females were always the smaller and weaker ones in the predator universe get your shit straight😂

Imagine there's a huge open world where you can visit different planets. And you can choose between Alien, Predator, Human (maybe Engineers). Got both story and multiplayer modes. Humans and Predators got many gear, weapons and Xenomorphs can evolve depends on species they kill. And every planet got different species and threats so you'll need to equip different gear depends on planet
So a mix of no mans sky and AVP

I can't WAIT to see more of the Berserke, I wanna feel like an unstoppable armored giant behemoth running all over the jungle.
The game came out a lot cooler then what everyone expected, but for the game to continue its success, the game is going to need pretty regular free expansions such as new maps, game modes weapons classes etc . The reason I say this is because of the genre of game it is, just look at the game call Evolve, pretty cool game, but it died pretty quickly.
it think it would be more popular if it had more than human x predators, if they had some xenomorphs would be cool, a team battle of xenos vs pretators or 2 predators in a hunting game to see wich one gets more kills

Not just the genre but the exclusivity hell it's in with PS4 and Epic Games, I think a lot of people would buy it if it weren't so heavily exclusive. I think within 2 months if they don't expand the game to more platforms this game will die faster than Friday the 13th and Evolve sadly.
I think this game can thrive in two ways.
Make it free with micro transactions in exchange for constant updates, patches and otherwise massive post launch support.
Or:
Sell it for 60$ and continue supporting it with large laid dlc and smaller free content.
Dont dwindle on the past
This game would've been more enjoyable if it wasn't just a multiplayer and if it had a history like concrete jungle

I just hope this game succeeds like it deserves, it looks beautiful and the gameplays look amazing...the environment is beautiful takes me back to when i first saw the first predator movie, so glad they revived those memories with this game!!

They gotta add The Wolf Helmet, I remember playin AVP3 back in 2013 .
This game has already gotten a lot of hate after it's beta/trial weekend maybe would be a good idea for the devs to delay the release a little bit. Though tbh one of the things that people have been complaining a lot over is the graphics which yes ok may look a little outdated but they still look fine every game that comes out doesn't need to take your breath away, they just need to run well and be fun that should be more important but still us gamers seem to really make ourselves look bad and come across as extremely spoiled whiny teenagers.. though the other thing people were complaining about is how the game is NOT smooth, and occasionally (especially annoying as the predator) players get stuck in the environment or on corpses. Guess we will need to see how it progresses but nice video regardless!
My only few issues with the game is that at some angles you can't jump up on the trees as the Predator, like the Red Markings dont always allow you to climb up, The graphics are not bad, i understand illfonic doesnt have a great background in developing, like what happened with Friday the 13 was a joke, using the Lawsuit as an excuse to get out was just pathetic, but the way the predator and the fireteam are displayed is fine, the graphics are good, no complaints there tbh, i don't know how else they would like make photorealistic graphics for this. The Predator is the best looking thing of the game tbh, another complaint I had was the reveal trailer, I think instead of using like PC footage they used Console which set me off due to the poor poor frame rate, like it was 24frames and not even 30, Can't have a smooth experience with the game if the FPS isnt on par with what type of game you are trying to put out. One of the reasons I wasn't all the pumped with Friday the 13th for xbox.
@@adigames yea idk, like I'm sure a fair amount of people are, I'm a huge fanboy when it comes to Predator so probably despite all the negative reports on it I will probably still pre order in a week or so, just sucks I have to install Epic to play it..also hopefully it being on Epic rather than steam with no mention of a steam release won't hurt the player base)
@@SIR1U5 Usually if it's only epic release it will hurt the pc release, unless we can play Crossplay with playstation then it should be fine. I don't like when the company sells its stuff on one platform for 1 year then goes public, doesnt make sense to me on how you are going to earn the money from the sales. My assumption with Epic is that Epic themselves are purchasing some of the copies in order to offset the sales so that the companies stay with Epic, i mean, epic could do that since Fortnite gave them like 10 Billion net revenue.
but hopefully it comes out on steam aswell, the more players the better the game will thrive.

It would be so cool if they made a alien version of this and you can choose between the big chap drone, ridge heads, the avp lol omg xenos or hybrid versions, and maybe even a crossover version
It would be cool if they added the masks from the movies in future DLCs or updates.
I'm unsure if illfonic will really support this game, i mean so far its been total shit with the ai, bugs etc. So i am unsure if they actually care, i hope it gets dlc support and actual good predator/fireteam cosmetics. I don't see this game being supported much, i mean at launch only 3 maps? what a joke of a game! such disappointment really.
The Phoenix mask is easily the best one
I find it really lame that you can’t change the predator’s face. Throughout the predator lore we’ve seen a variety of spikes on the head and mandibles, and even a whole other race of predators, the superpredators. Not to mention the hybrid predator from the newest movie. Just take a look at some of the stuff NECA has done with the predator faces.

true but in game the only time the mask is off is during the short cutscene and when the predator dies, it's so minimal it's on par with Pistol Grips on COD WW2

I don’t want this game to die. In order to make sure it keeps it’s popularity, the devs need to keep adding new stuff for players so they don’t get bored of it too quickly.
Friday the 13th was a good game. Took forever to get fixes but it was fun. They added content slowly but then there was a lawsuit happening and during this time i think illfonic/gun media just took it as an excuse to leave the game. Like this predator game is good and its a great concept but the thing is like releasing the game with minimum amount of content at full price is a joke. 2 or 3 maps that are literally the same. Adding arnold and other skins in a 1st person game is dumb. I think it should have been 3rd person at least but i dunno how long this game will be up for. Think illfonic is one of those companies that do a quick get money scheme and then dip to a new IP. Think their next one will probably be something like a terminator game that they will get a quick cash payout and then dip. Illfonic is one of very least appealing companies just because if their scumbag way of making games.
@@adigames I'm Fucking agreed with you on the skins they Givin out when you can only play on 1st person mode as fireteam which is fucking dumb... like in whole 15mins of match you can only see youreself , skins , dlc characters you bought for 3 secs in a fucking chopper... they should give us 3rd person mode

Cant wait to this game. In hope the do something about the fireteam weapon loadouts. Towards the end of the beta lots of people were running mini gun and a grenade launcher. I think that's a bit much you show only be allowed one or the other not both or maybe make it class specific? It's just a bit much when you have a squad of 4 guys all spamming grenade launchers and mini guns. Also if their is a way to make the predators footsteps a little quieter that would be great. Everytime he moves the jungle might as well be shaking. Lol

A more openworld game using the gameplay of this game would be fun. A singleplayer Predator game could be great specially in a concrete jungle. Maybe make a mode where the community create their own hunting grounds and people try to clear them with the most points. A game like that would need great enemy AI though. I guess that's one of the reason they went multiplayer for this one. Makes the AI they do use less important. Though it seems they've made a pretty cool multiplayer system for this one so I've been tempted to buy it.
This is cool, I wonder if they can get the rights to use the designs from the Kenner and Neca figures. I always loved the figure that has Xenomorph skeleton as armor.

I really want to get this game, but I don't know what state it's in. It felt shit when Friday 13th got abandoned due to legal troubles so I'm cautious of a repeat. Is it worth it? And have they added any masks or maps since release? (I want to get Celtic but just see a few lookalikes)
