The image would be much improved if you focussed the IR by rotating the collar at the front of the IR module outwards. Do that and you would probably need less IR power and save on battery life
Thanks. It was focused wide the first two nights I shot, and I fotgot it was adjustable. I was wondering why the illumination was not that bright, even at the highest power setting. I now have it focused about halfway between flood and spot, and I've never needed more than the minimum IR power setting, even shooting at 250yds.
