I can usually try really hard, often straining to think of maybe ten real inspirations alive right now. Mr. Hockney is always right at the top of that list. An utter hero, not just as an artist but as a man, and a human being in general.

Are you able to articulate why? I've seen two of his exhibitions, and enjoyed them, but am keen to learn more.
