This is pretty much the best dark humour I've seen in any Fallout game.
I just found this. I have only ever used just the recycler to throw shit into when I get back from running around. This is a thing of beauty and I need that Soylent mod. I cannot describe how excited I am to put one of these at every outpost. My people shall conquer the wasteland through manufacturing!
Fallout 4 isn't a good fallout game but by god it makes a good factory tycoon game

Ngl it kinda is for me, but I also worked at UPS for a few years, and early on I would come home and be laying in bed still hearing the conveyor belts running in my head while I tried to sleep. Good times lol

I was so disappointed in vanilla manufacturing, it had so much potential.
Mah man is a mad genius! I suspect he even worked this out on paper before hand, and then actually applied it to verify and went from there lol
I turned the Co-op into a resource trap factory, all pathways in were conveyer belts lined with traps and turrets and the clear up was entirely automated, hours of fun.
Where or what is the "Co-op"?

@@SkandalRadar There was no real planning behind it, it's a just decent sized plot for building, it's not prone to attacks more than anywhere else, but some of the DLC allow you to place items that will increase attack frequency, placing cages that trap raiders and monsters will provoke those factions to attack. It's been a while since I used it but the creation club 'settlement ambush kit' goes one further and adds a couple of fake distress signal 'switches' to your settlement build menu provoking an instant attack, it won't stop until turned off.. and they come increasingly more difficult waves. The risk reward is pretty fair and you can farm guns and resources from the fallen.
I don't play FO4 anymore but thank you for making a very calming experience. I love watching OCD building guides. People said I was inane when making perfect factory setups but they never understand xD

To my knowledge you have to repair the cages everytime they are used

There's a mod that lets you add and disable attacker spawns, giving the same effect. Pretty sure it's part of Unlimited Settlement Surplus, too. Just disable all the normal spawns and place your own in the perfect spot, or just funnel the attackers through a single entrance with a kill box. (I recommend Automatron sentries instead of turrets)

Im gonna be honest, even if i didn't build a human meat machine. The additional forges. The converging conveyors. So many mods in this are ones i absolutely want. Im rather annoyed that Bethesda half assed things like they did. You dont have any systems to have all conveyor belts eventually become one conveyor. You don't have any recyclers, granted the forges break items down. But only when they're going to use them. There was so much potential in manufacturing that they squandered. Im glad modders saw the potential. I mean, I'd love to make my own factory and basically become the biggest supplier of goods in the Commonwealth for roleplay. It wouldn't be easy. But it'd be fun to build myself up like that

i love how this looks
so i have been playing this game for about a year and a half and i was never interested in using any of the manufacturing stuff, but now i'm curious about it and what the appeal of it is all about.
i hated building settlements until i embraced it, so i'm hoping i can embrace the manufacturing stuff once i find something interesting that it can do in my game that i could actually want.
i just got used to doing everything on my own from making chems to getting power armor frames from sellers or just the discarded frames in the game, but it never really came as something i can build, and if this is the case i might enjoy this idea.
idk why i got recomended this, YEARS after i last played FO4...but i will save it for later
One time I built a really cool vault, its all I focused on in the specific playthrough. I got bored and took a break and happened across "bill" in the fridge. As a Melee focused player of course I swung my super sledge at the fridge to oepn the door for him.. Well, I forgot I had a child k*ll mod installed and lets just say his baby goggins had no noggin... I felt bad so I installed the "mak your own synth mod" and remade him and tried to return him to his family but of course the character ID wasnt the same so they didnt want him. I felt even worse so I decided to make him some brotehrs and fill my vault will billies I dressed up in rocketship pajamas. To feed them I would harvest raider attacks into soylent green but that wasnt fast enough so I built a billy meat packing plant in the roboticists hideout. It would pop a billy synht out into a knife pit that would then k*ll and harvest the billy into soylent green. I then transported this to the vault for bill consumption. One day while showing a friend, I entered the bully factory only to find it had broken and was now filled with a terribly laggy amount of billies... I've never had to swing my super sledge so many times... Their screams haunt me to this day, years later...
I will never use this info. But it was for some reason very satisfying to watch. Thanks buddy

I tried to used the power armor builder but couldn't get it to work properly. It kept wanting to make torso pieces
I'd say try using the terminal to configure it. You could also ask the mod creator on Nexus for help.
@@hexi6485 I did. It was connected directly to the builder and wouldn't change over from PA Torso no matter what part it was. Helmet, L. Leg, R. Leg, L. Arm, R. Arm. Plus I downloaded it on my XB1.

Body decomposer/robot dissassembler should be part of Manufacturing Extended. Though one person for Xvox decided to make a sister mod since ME's author stopped working on it. Manufacturing Extended Expanded is the name.
