    i bought the 97' version 6 years ago for 2k with a trailer, so the green/white one, and i'm going to keep it for the rest of my life because it's more reliable than a rolls royce
    and it still looks like new, inside and out, and it's not too expensive on gas, and maintenance is like zero dollars because i can't see what i should do to it to keep it in good condition.
    I ride on a lake with fresh water only, so after the season it's just blow out the water inlet and then put a block of wood between the bonnit so the engine bay can dry up and no mold
    can built up, and then the next season it's good to go again. Maybe a few sparkplugs every 3-4 year and that's it!

    FYI, those 760s seem to start blowing up at around 200 + hrs. They loose the ring pin and toss piston rings. Always wrecks the head and needs a bore. Good practice to do a quick top end as prevention.

    1200 may be faster, but running buoys you're looking at what, 45 min of endurance before you need to gas up? Lots of fun but you need to stay close to the beach. 1200 is the obvious choice for racing, but for someone who wants to ride for a few hrs at a time before heading back to the dock, 760 swapped wb1 is my perfect machine. Piped and ported even better.

Overall road it non stop for 3hours lol till I hit reserve,raced 2 spark trixx and kill them on tje close course and off the line till 40,then the walk away,gps'd it mine did 44.7mph

      Matthew Robert i’ve run into similar problems quite a few times with the filters inside the carbs keep getting clogged and I’ll clean them and they’ll keep getting clogged and the best solution I find is to run an in-line fuel filter before the carbs to keep all that junk out of your carbs and then replace that when it gets clogged and hopefully your fuel tank will eventually clean itself out. Good luck

      Ugh, sounds bad

    • @kevinmulholland9566
      @kevinmulholland9566 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I absolutely disagree. The Blaster 2 is a great for wave jumping in the surf. It’s lightweight and has a large 155mm pump for great low end acceleration.
      It’s all about timing for wave jumping. The 97’ model has the adjustable trim, which might help the nose lift up a little more.
      The Blaster 2 is considered a “wet hull” where a large amount of surface area is contacting the water. This makes the hull handle great but limits the top end speed because of drag/resistance. The 760 motor gets loads down under hard turns with the 155mm pump. Yes, triple swap for sure!!!
