    Cool Bass. I’ve owned $ 2k + basses, and I’ve owned $ 500 basses. I’ve learned that it’s the player and the feel, not the expense of the gear.
    This bass is a great bass. No matter the price, no matter what the headstock says.
    It’s not a great bass “for the money”. It’s a great bass.

    I’ve just bought one of these, the craftsmanship is insane, amazing fret job, perfect finish, incredible neck profile. So playable.

    These early p basses where my favorite I have a sting signature that looks just like this one with my favorite finish the tobacco sun burst always loved the maple neck over the rosewood and the amount of gloss finish on the back of the neck makes sliding around the simpler the better was what turns me on you pick one of these up you never want to put it down I play with the bass know all up and treble of and you just get that deep bass sound you can't get on modern basses without a ton of pedals I've never recorded with mine but heard the best studios always have one of these and and amped flip top and they will insist on the.bass player use it even if he shows up with a ten thousand dollar custom job.

(You also can get a little bit of the loud jazzy JB Sound...but it depends on how you play and what your style is) overall it is more versatile and better looking than the 60s PB. (In my opinion :) )

    • @EmpireMusicPgh
      @EmpireMusicPgh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's an original design feature, early on it was assumed that some players would play with their thumb. The bar could be used to anchor the fingers. Eventually as index-middle finger plucking evolved that bar was moved to the bass side of the strings. Eventually both were somewhat phased out (although not exclusively) except for period-accurate recreations. Thanks for watching - Anthony

    I hate two-saddle bridges because they are difficult to intonate properly. I’m glad this one has a four-saddle bridge.

    Got one for half that. The cost of getting the keys cut. It's amazing how your hairs migrated. "Wonky" means something that does not function. Goes back to WWII Royal air force UK. Same as "Gremlin". Which means the thing that causes the wonkiness.

    The white pickguard doesn't look good with sunburst.

    You showed me that the reason my Squire 50’s Classic Vibe sounds like crap isn’t the instrument itself!

      LOL!!! Thanks! I always enjoy these basses... although they do require frequent setups and maintenance... so don't beat yourself up. Take it into a qualified shop and make sure it's as playable as possible. Helps a ton! Thanks for watching - Anthony

      En faly music lo tienen solo que la tienda tiene precios altos pero yo lo encontré en 7500 y aparte le compré un fenomenal amplificador Fender Rumble 40.
      Es una bestia este bajo, el sonido es potente, cálido, con mucho brillo y tiene mucho volumen o se siente gordo el sonido, típico de los precision bass
