Was the slayer harmony thirds?
Same interval as a power chord, which is a 5th. Slayer does a lot of 5ths, but the atonal nature of the riffs themselves makes it sound SUPER evil with the straightforward 5th harmony.
You know what, I’m trippin… the Blood Red harmony is minor thirds. Which is rare for Slayer, almost all their harmony parts are fifths (raining blood, angel of death breakdown, south of heaven, dead skin mask)
