I really like this mans approach and demonstrations but from my personal experience this kind of move only works if you're grip strength is stronger than the person you are doing it too. While technique is key, raw power can not be under estimated.

blaze556922 it's about the angle. The wrist can reach a certain point where it is unable to follow the movement of somebody else's wrist

well the thing is what if you have small hands? have bad grip? (sweaty grip).. what if the guy (person) is much larger than you (taller and heavier) ?? what then ?? and even if those things are managed.. the guy isn't going to just stand there he is going to be moving around swinging punches and trying to go toe to toe with you.. again we are talking street fight here circumstances..
this would be dangerous to apply under any of those circumstances I would imagine.. or are they more effective then they appear on video here?

If you are executing a joint lock properly, and I mean full-on as much strength as you can, not practicing with someone who you care around and don't want to break their wrist, your assailant will be screaming, not trying to hit you back. If they even lift up their other arm, apply more pressure and I assure you they will stop. Martial Arts are designed exactly for that reason - so a smaller person can defeat a larger person. This has nothing to do with strength or size (or sweat ;) ) of hands, but everything to do with proper joint manipulation, which is the same of anyone regardless of size :) I am a 5'2", 115 lb female and I practice joint locks on my 6'3", 205 lb boyfriend. He does not like it one bit and cannot escape or wiggle without causing himself more pain. Try it out on someone you know who is willing to practice with you. You'll see! :)

The initial grasp to apply the wrist manipulation requires great precision. Especially when you are under a violent attack, you will not be capable of that kind of precision.

Maybe after practicing the move enough if you have good speed, reflexes, and coordination. But I thought one of the main principles of Krav Maga is that the average person (not just the athlete) should be able to learn these techniques quickly and use them (it was originally used to quickly train ordinary Israelis in hand-to-hand combat during war time, if I’m not mistaken)

He wants to change entertainment and create opportunities for the Latin people and immigration. He likes Bruce Lee and wants to advance Jeet Kune Do into his own fighting art. Many say he is very fast when he strikes whether it be a kick or a punch. People also say he is a handsome guy with a big heart. He goes by the name of "Kenji Lucian".
