Are you saved? If you died tonight would you go to heaven or hell?
The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him. Although God's creation was created perfect, having no death, sickness and disease, the creation became corrupted through Adam and Eve in them disobeying God. In this rebellion the creation became fallen through the curse of sin and mankind became separated from God. This world is fallen, but God offers reconciliation to him through his provision at the cross. Ultimately God will restore his creation to perfection when he returns but those that who reject his offer of redemption will remain condemned by their sins and go to hell.
      John 1:1,14 KJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD.
[14] And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH , and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
      John 1:10
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

I think the reason is that back then, when there was a man and a woman in the house, the man was the boss of the house as should be . The woman had no problem with that, like they have today. She had her precious role in the family and she was proud of it. But she was not the boss. Life and family values made so much more sense back then. The internet, smartphones and toxic social media ruined the masses who got carried away without even realizing. Why are people unable to walk in the street without having their bloody phone in their hand these days? The addiction is real. Phone zombies are everywhere.

You can tell they are Sydneysiders from their Sydney type speech.... Melbournians would speak differently. In most Aussie homes, "the Missus" has always been "the boss" and what she says goes. Husband's and kids cringe in fear and dare not "give any lip" back when told how it's to be, especially in rural households and the bigger her horde of kids, the "bossier" mum, head of the house, will be. I recall many evening meals where "the boss", mum, would serve up some humble sludge, like "Bangers'n'Mash" (sausagewith mashed potatoes) for dinner and she could see none of them wanted to eat this but you'd hear "the boss" bark at her horde, including her husband, considered like one of the kids, "Just shut up and eat it!". It was unwise to dare defy or argue with "the head of the household", mum! Fathers were simply there to bring home the bacon. They, too were ordered to "Just shut up and it". Wise family men who valued domestic peace and harmony simply did as they were told, like all the rest of the kids were expected to. And if "mum" asked how they liked whatever sludge she had served up to them, no matter how bad her culinary skills were, there was only one correct, acceptable response to this question, which is is solar to another famous question Aussie women require a set, correct answer to, as it is also a purely rhetorical question: Does my bum look fat in this? The answer must always be: No, you look gorgeous. Similarly, with the Aussie mum's cooking, the answer to how you liked her sludge she served up must always be: Beautiful!
She may then try to feed you more, tell you there is plenty left still and how lucky you are to live in the land of plenty and get to eat Vegemite and be so cared for by her, whilst everybody else in the world is "so deprived" blah, blah. Now, although you may be wishing you could escape to some "deprived place" where you can eat fancy exotic food Aussies love, especially Asian or Italian, you must always look as if you'd love more of her sludge but really could not eat anything else because you are "full". But, watch out for any tricks she might play eg bring out the "Pav" (Pavlova, Australia's national sweet dish, a kind of merengue). It's very rich, sweet, creamy and if you how into that very keenly, you will have admitted by your eagerness to eat it, that you are, in fact, a liar, because you said you were "full", and here you are, diving in for a second helping of Pavlova dessert... It can get even trickier still if she decides to wrap up some of her sludge cooking for you to take home and have later, in case you get hungry for some good old country home style cooking, personally made with mum's loving hands. You don't want it, but you dare not reject her loving, caring mother's gift of good for those she cares most about... So you take it, thank her profusely, get a few big red lipstick kisses planted over your face, hugs etc and think "My dog might eat this, hopefully...". Once a man threw such good away before he got home and some dogs found it and brought it back to the house that had given it to him... "The dogs took his food... Look..." some guests yelled. But the dogs weren't keen on eating this sludge either. "No worries, mate... You're lucky this is the land of plenty, despite droughts, bushfires, floods, Covid... But I'll get you another fresh lot to take home..." Mum starts preparing a fresh lot of sludge. Kids whine "Oh, not more of that!" But are quickly silenced with her stern "Just shut up and eat it!". Once I heard a drunken husband yell 'No! You wouldn't feed that to a dog! See, even the dog vomited when he tried to eat it, over there... Looks just like what's on my plate! Dog vomit!" That husband ended up having to sleep outside, in the doghouse, as a result of certain "inappropriate comments" made to "the boss of the house", mum. They rule with an iron hand. Just as tough or even tougher than the women in business and politics. And there are never complaint about sexual harrassment. Mainly because the women harrass the men, who must comply and please the head of the household, who is also the boss in the bedroom, barking out instructions about what she wants from her man, how, when, where, why etc etc. He is not really in a position to argue about it, not with a few tons of soft feminine mum flesh bearing down on him, very hard. It's called the "women on top" sexual position and it symbolises which gender holds the real power in Aussie inter gender relationships. So, it's best to "just shut up and eat it". The food she feeds you, that is, not her corpulent body... There's an abundance of beef, from all the cows in Australia, to cut big fat juicy steaks from....

      John 1:10

@Miriam Svenson Yes you can go to university and start your career and get very well paid job and buy your own house. But if... I’m saying if one day you meet a man and get married and decide to have children. I hope you look after your children and spent a lot of time with them. Because children need both parents attention but while they are growing starting from birth they really need their mother. They need their mother more than anybody else. They need mothers touch, gentleness, kindness, forgiveness, compassion, mothers patience. Nobody can be as close as mother, not father, not a nanny.
My son chocked in his sleep when he was 2weeks old in the middle of the night. He was all blue, not breathing, limp, I was exhausted but woke up to check on him during the night and if I didn’t he wouldn’t be saved. He would be dead. His father didn’t wake up, nanny wouldn’t. I did because a mother have that intuition. A mother is a lioness. I would wake up during the night time to time to check if my child is breathing.
Have you heard of the story of a mother who picked up a car because her child was trapped underneath? A single person...a mother.
I grew up alone. My both parents were chasing their careers and was never home, only would sleep in a house. I have never spent a holiday with any of my parents or did anything nice together because they were busy doing their shit. I knew then that I will be a different mother. I will be present with my children. I will attend their school plays, will be witnessing their moments of joy and etc...
My parents regret they missed out. Time flies and now they wish that they spent a lot of time with kids but it’s too late. Their careers brought only joy for that moment while they were working. Now they have nothing no career( as they are old) and no children (children live their own lives).
      Real joy is family.
I am speaking from my point of perspective. 💜
