He didn't kill that guy who rescued him from his burning car. He left him standing there, and he flinched once the car exploded. The brother wasn't waiting inside the house. He came in the middle of the scene, stumbling drunk, uttering that he needed to speak with his sister.
You got good vs evil for the blue red thing? I got coldness vs passion. Like Bianca basically gave up her family for the gig.. she's kinda gone cold.. but the jackal who is normally collected has his world falling apart and all he wants IS his family.. hes getting less detached. You're probably right tho
I enjoyed the series-but still don’t believe it deserves the “Best Drama” nominations it’s getting. But, whatever. I like that I was right that Isabel was a Baddie. And, I kinda liked that the Jackal killed Bianca. I hope the next season, the Jackal goes after ALL the Baddies: the rich folks, as well as the UK govt folks. I think that Osi will help the Jackal.
Disappointing on the whole. They've obviously spent a lot of money on it, visually it was quite impressive and some of the cast I'd assume to be fairly expensive. Some of the moody 90's music gets a thumbs up from me, can't go wrong with the likes of Massive Attack and Radiohead. I don't understand why you'd spend so much money on the cast, then give them an amateur hour script though, and there were some binary anti-British messages designed to get across to a viewership with a short attention span. I share your concern about the writers having enough skill to sustain a second series. That being said, it wasn't aimed at anyone who'd read the novel or watch the 1973 movie. It's not for the sort of audience that appreciates skilful writing or character development.

The Jackal did not meet Zina in London at the end. I think it was Budapest.
This was a great final episode, completely unexpected.

I like your interpretation too!
I started the show 3 or 4 times and fell asleep. This last time, i made it 10 and I'm glad i did. I really enjoyed it..... eventually
Well that's good!
I really liked this show.

I felt the military backstory was incomplete. What happened after he murdered his squad? Where did he and his spotter go? Where is his spotter now?
Good questions! Could be season 2 content though!
IMHO, the show was good but uneven. Will watch season 2.
How ?? The guy was being tailed and got into a crash and then we just pretended like nothing happened 😂 big joke
