Rob thank you very much for your beautiful playing of this carol. I do not have a bass system to hook up to and about the only means I have to listen to this is my phone. Even with only this, your beautiful playing of this carol sounded like it was coming right out of the portals of heaven. As I lisrened to you play this christmas carol I really begun getting in The Christmas spirit like I have never been before. Hopefully in heaven there will be many times The Lord will have us gather together in a group to hear your beautiful playing of all of these Christmas Carols on heavens grand pipe organ.
So strange, had a dream last night that I was playing this (never played the organ, only piano) then woke up to this in my recommended to view...kinda wish I could learn to play the organ now xD
Do you have the full sheet music you could send me? I am learning piano and I have always been wanting to try playing a pipe organ with music like this! 😀
Rob, you’re going to hate me for this😂but do you have the sheet music for the last verse variation? or please can you tell me where I can find it! Excellently played as always Matt
Could you maybe provide me with the fingering for this piece? I am currently struggling a little as a beginner. Really enjoyed listening! Best regards.
Great stuff! We are working with a bunch of small churches on a video Christmas service. Could we include this as part of that service? A friend of mine said you had good recordings and were cool with people using your videos for services - it's hard to find good recordings to use freely, especially played on an organ this wonderful!
I agree Josh, the Scharf Mixutre On the Choir Organ, in very due course the organ console is going to be cleaned and restored and hopefully some tonal adjustments made to the organ so watch this space!
At my church we have a 3 manual 34 rank Reuter organ. We are getting everything upgraded to solid state, the pine/plastic manuals are being replaced with ivory resin/rosewood manuals, new drawknobs, new magnets in Swell, and the Great diapason chorus is being revoiced to be a slight bit louder. We only have 1 mixture though. It's a 3 rank fourniture in Great.
