I’m glad you made this. I don’t even post on LinkedIn and constantly get strangers from completely different states asking me to refer them. Every now and then I get some that want to know more about the company but even then some of those people seem unthankful when I do take a call or they end up being late/missing the call if I do agree to take time to schedule something with them. I can only imagine how worse it would be for someone who is active.
Thank you so much for this video. I am actually reaching out to professionals for referrals with a quick 200 letter message but it is very difficult unless you know them through alumni or family. Will keep these points in mind while reaching out.
First email could also simply be vibing. Sometimes I just randomly give compliments to people on the street. Compliments I genuinely mean, but I don't want anything out of it other than to give them the compliment and have the hope that it makes them feel a little better, just for the sake of feeling better.
Hi Dimitri, do you recommend sending a message after receiving an answer. Sometimes, if I don’t have anything new to add, I dont send another message so their inbox doesn’t get cluttered with unnecessary messages. Or do you appreciate a short message like, thanks for the response, very usefull!
That's what I originally thought. The person has commented good feedback on other posts though. I'm hoping this video helps others communicate on LinkedIn.

A short message acknowledging it was helpful is nice or you can just add a 👍 to the message to avoid clutter.
Alright, thanks for the quick response, very usefull 😆
The first one is likely from a scammer 😂

I hope job hunting will get to a point where people don't have to rely on others just to get a job. Networking makes me puke.
Nice video, thanks Dimitri
Nice outro song
What's the other channel that you run?
@BiancoLand
One has been constantly asking for donations for such and such from a third world country on my linkedin. I wonder if this has occurred to others too.
Time is short -> just hire a bunch of math/stats interns for free/minimum wage lol
Cost: you risk leaking company secrets
Great Video
i literally just clicked away because of the intro
