She's the worst actor of the doctor thats why she's getting this amount of hate. Although to be fair her shit writer is incapable of writing multi layered characters if he had to save his life however you people that try to exonerate Jodie Whittaker of any responsiblity for her atrocious performance are part (although a very small part imo) of the problem of why current doctor who is terrible. Her character as a person is irrelevant to her character as the doctor which is hands down the worst out of every single doctor that has ever been in doctor who history. Again the terrible writer also has a role to play but she does as well.

Jodie Whittaker with the writers from Matt’s era would be such an incredible season. She has such an amazing energy, but the writing this season is just too subpar. It ruins it for me.
I will admit there is something is missing and I can understand to some degree why people are upset but I wouldn't say it's bad.
I enjoy them but it's not quite the same I can't place what it is.
Also what's funny is how people come for Chibnall but forget how Moffat basically acted like a God and told people to fuck off if they disagreed with him.
He wrote some of the best individual episodes but as a show runner he was well out of his depth.
You could especially tell towards the end, Capaldi is an amazing actor and really put his heart into the role but it became especially apparently towards the end that he was just done.
Series 10 as a whole felt rather forced and lacked the same energy as series 8 and 9.
In all honesty I miss Davies because he really had a knack for making the show feel like doctor who.
Chibnall I think is still getting his bearings because he doesn't really have the experience to run the show like Moffat or Davies did.
He did well on Broadchurch and I will applaud him on that but Doctor Who is a very different show to Broadchurch and I don't think he has quite figured that out.

@Katelyn Vasquez My problem with new who is not the politics. It's the writing, music and how everything is just way too different (I don't mean the doctor being female because I was super excited for that and Chibnall instead made the first female doctor annoying). First off the writing is pretty bad and it makes all of the characters feel one dimensional. Then theres the music which sounds off putting and why the hell did they have a rise up song at the end of an episode, Rosa in my opinion is the best of the Chibnall episodes (which isn't saying much) and then it was ruined with the rise up song like why ruin an emotional scene with a corny song SMH. Finally for some reason Chibnal decided to turn the show into a semi second revival and started introducing all these weird things like instead of companions he has them say fam, then he then made the screw driver wack and he dropped all character development from the previous seasons by destroying Galefrey again and then he reverted the evolved relationship of the Master and the Doctor backwards which dropped all of the development from Missy and the Doctor. Thats my problem with the Chibnall era and so far he has either crappy ideas or they are really unoriginal. The introduction of the fugitive doctor is very similar to the war doctor and the timeless child was very similar to the hybrid storyline from series 9.

@@djb1317 I like her doctor, the optimism she has is a good change of pace coming of the back of capaldi. But, I think all of the doctors need a bit of darkness present in them (of the back of the time war), that's all she lacks for me. Regardless, I enjoy her portrayal.

TRUTH
The thirteenth Doctor's episodes are awesome. Only one or two duds. The HateTubers just make money off the clicks from their sexist and racist lies and rants. Don't be a sheep or believe the lies about the 11th and 12th season. The 12th season in particular is a blast and full of incredible twists.
The 11th season has Rosa, Demons, It Takes You Away, Woman Who Fell to Earth and Kerblam!" All awesome episodes.
So much Woke SJW agenda... No fun at all.
The writing just isn’t good anymore no focus on character or the magic the show had before and it’s need to try and stay relevant by talking constantly about politics just makes it a drag to watch Jodie deserves a good script
She could've been good. She's a very good actor. Brilliant at emotional acting. It's just a shame chibnall would rather write her as a bargain bin version of matt Smith instead of an actual character.
I really think she could be a good Doctor under a different showrunner one who isn't a complete hack.

While on furlough I watched every episode from eccleston to jodies latest episode, Its a rollercoaster of emotion and adventure... I can't wait to see what's coming next (even with the timeless child storyline)

I've been catching up because I kinda fell out of love with the show during Capali's era (I blame Moffat).
I love Capaldi but you could tell the longer it went he really lost the spirit he had at the beginning.
It gradually felt very forced towards the end and even though I have a new appreciation upon rewatching I still think Moffat really left the show in disarray.
@@eveescastle5866 now that I had a chance to re watch and have a bit of perspective, the Bill Potts season was a good way to end it and was a refreshing break from Clara years...Capaldi left at the right time and did a great handoff episode...It's funny when we hear all the actors speak as working professionals thinking about their next gig

There wasn’t. This dude has just been pasting this under like half of the comments in this video. There’s absolutely nothing to go on here except rumors and Peter has only seemed to have a great relationship with the show and fans and has gone on record many times talking about why he left because he didn’t want to overstay his welcome and get to comfortable and bland in the part. He recently participated in the DW Covid video thanking doctors everywhere

@Dennis Menace allegedly, he's gone on record saying its one of those things that he enjoyed doing, I think some of the reason why he refuses to come back is because the show left a somewhat sour taste in his mouth. he didn't have the best of relations with the show producers which I can only assume made it complicated. I don't think its that he hated the show, he's just not got the best opinion of the BBC.

I guess I never looked at the regeneration scenes like that before lol, you film an emotional goodbye scene and then the crew just goes “alright NEXT UP” and some new person walks up in a tattered version of your costume
I know that the lineup consists of the most recent doctor, the fan-loved doctor and the modern doctor but I wish they had Peter as well. I mean he deserves the respect. He had to live up to what was given to Matt in terms of plot and material and he had to also carry what was a fading generation of fans.
I'm sure they would have invited him, but he was probably busy or considers himself done with Dr. Who now. I never took him to really be a Whovian, and never seen him do press for it since leaving the show.

Jodie got some unfortunate writing, but she's had some stand-out moments and ultimately I'm glad she was cast. Miss Matt and David a ton!! Matt will forever be my favorite doctor, but honestly I really do love them all.

Just watched the Doctor saying good bye to Rose. Tears again.
Only slightly related but over the last couple of weeks I've rewatched the 6 Tolkien films. Finished up with Return Of The King last Friday evening, with Bilbo heading off for one last adventure. Later that night I found out Ian Holm had passed away and it left me with a very poignant feeling.
As for DW, I've got used to that scene but the ending to Vincent And The Doctor always sets me off, especially when Bill Nighy is giving his speech.
Bad wolf bay... Makes me cry every time.. I just happened to paint the tardis with the bad wolf graffiti on it the other day and cried for hours while listenning to the doomsday soundtrack.
