  • Alibow updated their already good Fiberglas Tatar Bow!
    Now the bow has what they call “ergonomic grip” and I have to say, this feels way better than I expected.
    Have a look with me at the bow feels and how it shoots!
    Thank you Alibow for providing this bow for free, yet they did not tell me anything I have to say, they did not see the video beforehand, all my opinion as usual.

    I have one of these from 3 years ago..... Has spoiled me for anything else. Might like slightly higher draw weight but shoots well for me out to 40-50 yards.
    Thank you Armin for your videos showing great form and sampling lots of bows for us to learn about them before we buy.

    I can’t disagree on recommending these bows for beginners. I have 12, mixed tartar/turkish bows between 15 to 25# depending age/draw length and how strong they feel, all used for beginner horse archery. They are simply very durable and easy to use. 😅 might have to buy some more and review this handle myself 😊 thanks Armin, as usual another very sound review.

    I must say the bow looks pretty much okay. Have nothing against a fiberglass bows, for starters its on the safer side since its more durable and cheaper than a laminated wooden bow, weather wont affect it and can perform on the same level. No speed monsters for sure but are more stable and calm to shoot. I think for a beginner its better to have one of these first. Again, the quality of your bow is only a fine-tuning of your skills, so if you master your tool you can easily compete - let's say - at 20-70yards (depending on the arrow's poundage).
    For 75$ plus shipping (50$ to Europe, outch) and voucher it IS a no-brainer for sure 👍 There are some top brand fiberglass bows out there for 3x the price and I'm pretty sure they wont perform better than this.

    I agree Korean bows with Korean handles. The shooting experience is unique. I also agree about the Alibow fiberglass line. Tartar and Turkish. The Turkish in progressively heavy draw weights. You may progress to Manchu tackle. Thanks for the update.

    I got one of these. Yeah, it's not a Nawalny composite bow, but it's crazy good value for the money. Like Armin says, it's not too big, not too small, and for a fiberglass now, it's a great performer.

    I'm now hooked on asiatic archery, need to relearn everything, having lots of fun, ordered a Gengis Khan from alibow...50€ shipping plus import tax is immensely expensive.
    Got both my thumbs hurting, 3d printed a few rings but also training to get rid of the ring because I want to feel everything.
    Having fun, thank you for the precious guidance.

      I Wrap a strip of kinesiology tape round thumb which stops any pain or blisters and lets you feel at same time. Am also trying one of those elasticated material hand supports which gives good results too.

    @ArminHirmer i recurve mine last week, is my first horse bow. I am having trouble shooting because the string is not nocked, so I fiddle with getting the arrow on more than I do with my recurve. Do you have any tips to help ear my transition into this type of archery?

    if it manages without troubles 31-32 inches and they made it in 50 to 60 pounds in that prize it will propably be what I am missing right now
    light forgiving bow to warm myself before training and for relaxing muscles after training with my heavier Nawalny tatar
    and for trying stupid stuf I really like to do
    I was looking for cheap bows but most were too weak with too short draw lenght for technique I am practicing
    as my old light bow 50 pound Kyzl ryder just dont have long enought drawlenght after I finished building stile I want to practice and other bows I have are to light

    • @ArminHirmer
      @ArminHirmer  10 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      there might be soon another fiberglass bow from Alibow in heavier poundage coming

    • @jasommato9110
      @jasommato9110 10 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @ArminHirmer :) I need this one arround 50 pounds max 60 but 50 is enought for training draw length is most important 31.5inches as I have loot of habits from my past and dont need to change technique between bows that it didn't came back
      my heavy bow is 82pounds on 30 so propably arround 90 on full draw
      I was not expecting it to be as big problem to get heavy enought arrows for it :D
      so for pre and post shooting to not be sore next few days 50pound is good enought
      my goal in few years is to get to around 110 pounds just for fun no serious reasons :D I can manage few shots now but cant sustain more arrows and for safety I need more training on what I am right now
