So if theres any confusion, Savathun took over Osiris back in season of the Hunt, when the High Celebrant sent by Xivu Arath killed Sagira, his ghost, leaving him vulnerable. Savathun took that opportunity to take control and impersonate him to carry out her plans. This is the same season we meet Crow, which is why she said "I've been Osiris for as long as you've known me" to Crow.
33:55 well ther is loretabs on the weapons that season that do give some insight, in the bow called "Wolftone Draw" it basically says what Osiris is thinking as Savathun uses his body.
Even though we can’t trust literally anything Savathun says, being the Hive God of Cunning and Lies, Debra Wilson, who you’d recognize as Cere Junda from Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor, gives such a fun performance that is so fun to experience, even when she gets under your skin (or when she messes with your reaction vids)

I love this playlist and I adore u guys, but 2 downfall of this gameplay u guys watchin “but ain’t that bad” is 1- wish is there was a subtitle he have as you will see how Savathun can be written and because of 2- the audio of gun fight and music a little bit louder than some dialogues. but if you can guys here the dialogue clearly thats also fine.

No you guys have meet the real Osiris, Crow has never met the real Osiris. Savathun saved Osiris from Xivu Arath and disguised herself as Osiris from Season of the Hunt until now. Make no mistake you can’t trust anything she says, even when she tells you the truth she is playing some kind of trick. There’s a reason why she’s one of the best villains in Destiny. The voice in the dark. Yeah you will learn more about that during the Witch Queen DLC. It’s a very big thing that will be the main focus of the story after Witch Queens story ends. I can’t say much without spoiling anything but the lore behind the Voice in the Dark is crazy
