Excellent dissertation. I’ve recently become fascinated with Engelhard rounds but didn’t know much about them. You’ve helped a lot. Might do some future business with your shop re this product.
NICE !! I've been stacked well since 1990s. Always active in numi's & bullion since late 1970s. As a kid I was a paperboy, I had 2 routes, 2 papers delivered 5am to 630am daily, 1967-68-69-70 & much of my pay as a child was in 90% coinage, that is where I 1st started noticing US coinage, numi's... Then BULLION in 1979. I found my 1st bullion, it was & still is, an old 5.12 oz mining bar outta IDAHO.. I found it at a coin show in Connecticut & since that one purchase, bullion became a thing for me.. Art bars from the 1970s, mining & industrial bars, ingots, etc etc, became my search... It was then I began & never relented to collect old USA mining bars in odd weights of .999 silver, from the mid 1800s up into 1980s... Too in the late 1970s into 1990 time frame I collected a large numi collection & still today trade such. Then when ASEs in 1986 became a thing, I started buying them in 1987, adding art bars to ASEs to my stack. Then with the internet & Ebay in 1990s forward, .999 became a cottage industry, home pours to small private Mints producing rounds & series of, they made .999 silver stacking a thing... Now collectables, rounds, casts, etc etc in .999 silver, still by that industry & by Sovereign mints of several nations too, that is STILL obviously hot as hell today, arguably hotter than EVER!! ... In 2011, we used about 35% of our stack to buy VT land, 64 acres in 2012. During the infamous 2010-11 run up & down run of Silver as the GSR lowered also.... We did 2 GSR swaps, Silver to Gold, @ 42:1 & again at 47:1.. WE swapped a few thousands ounces of Silver for a pocket full of Gold, 2x ... ASEs to AGEs was the majority of our 2 swaps.. Yes many FOMOs bought SILVER on the rise up in 2010 & tried to catch the falling knife in 2011 & PAID too much FIAT, agreed.. FOMO in 2010-2011 was large.!! I used a few thousand rounds/coins & bars, some gold too & about $35k in cash to buy the acreage in Vermont. Then in 2015-2019 I bought, traded, sold bullion in private deals at coin shows to LCSs, & added again to the STACK, most well below $20 toz, & a tad above $20/toz, much @$16-$18/ toz,... I simply rebuilt my stack, still today I buy sell trade bullion & numi's, quietly with a network developed and Cash as King & paperwork rare!! Haaa. I'm 66 now, heathy still , I travel USA quite a bit still looking & finding & procuring as I too pic antiquities for several "clients".. Marbles, early USA glass, decorative arts, to MCM, motorcycle antiques, & related man cave objects are my love, to buy & resell. My bullion & collections?, my kids & grandkids will receive metal when I divest or die, but the plan is to do such, well before I die & quietly pass it down to my 2 kids age 37 & 42 , with 5 grankids now too... STACK ON ALL!! Keep the FAITH!!

I just got back from my LCS today. I bought a full roll of 20 uncirculated, 1984, eagle reverse, in the original Engelhard plastic tube. All 20 rounds are mint as well as the plastic tube. $620 total price....was this a fair deal?

Do you know what state he lives in? Do you know his address do you know where he keeps his silver? Does he keep it in the safe? Does he keep it outside? Does he keep it in a vault in a bank? Does he keep it outside buried in the yard? Do you have any idea where he has his silver? Do you have any idea how much silver he has? How do you know he doesn't have a silver in different places? You're a freaking moron aren't you.

You did great! That’s only $31 per round for premium silver plus you got a Engelhard tube to boot. Congrats!🎊
I picked up a tube of the old prospector coins for $2 over spot last year... my LCS treats these as generics for the most part.
You got a steal. Congrats!
My LCS is $6 over spot when he gets them in his shop.
Gday mate
