I will never not like Sleepwalking reactions Side note, I feel the need to say this album is 100% their Magnum Opus. It's absolutely unbelievable. Lyrics are insane, instrumentals are insane, vocals so full of emotion you can feel it in every song. Absolute God tier album
100% , I’ve always said Sempiternal by BMTH is my absolute perfect album, nothing comes close. Perfect blend of heavy and catchy with unreal lyrics. Will always be the greatest of all time
Sempiternal is fantastic but There is a Hell... is a modern masterpiece. Crucify Me is the only song that tops Sleepwalking in my opinion, though it is very close.
@@peskychocolatedevil I do really like there is a hell, the only thing for me is that no matter what platform you listen to it on Spotify / TH-cam / the actual CD / anything the sound quality sounds quite bad like it wasn’t recorded very well, sounds like the album was recorded through someone’s phone camera or something haha, do love the album though but that’s the thing that always annoyed me I never found a good quality version

I was very much not a fan of There is a Hell when it released as it was a massive departure from Suicide Season. Now it's in my top 5, top 10 albums - easily. Funny how things age.

Sean trust me their root is way different to their sound now, their first album was deathcore and you should listen to “pray for plagues” you’d be so shocked at how diverse this band is
If you want to dive into their early stuff, Pray for Plaques is the one I would recommend. I'm not sure if you like it, but you'll appreciate how they've changed

In my opinion this album is the best in their discography. I love all their albums except for the very first deathcore album (this is just too much for me), there are so many banger tracks in different styles, sometimes i think they can create music in every genre and it will be great. But after so many years, the only album that I constantly listen to is Sempiternal. For me, in addition to such hits as "Can You Feel My Heart" and "Sleepwalking", the best songs are "Hospital For Souls" and "Deathbeds", i think, i like them even more then can you feel my heart and sleepwalking. The text of "Hospital For Souls" in my opinion - the best text in their discography, simple and deep at the same time, so that will be my personal recomendation, "Hospital For Souls" is just too good. Not to be too technical, but this isn’t where they started. This is from the album Sempiternal where they veered from their deathcore origins into more metalcore which is more where they lie to day, with some other stuff (like Die4u and the amo album) even dipping more into pop sounds.

Those strings at the end with that chorus adds to its really well. metalcore has really changed how generic metal sounds to me. It all just sound so bleh to me. I still listen to it at times. But this is such a better sound,and his vocals are soooooo good
I know this is late but I have to say that I don't think they started out good haha, I think the sempiternal album was the first one that was good to a wider audience. No offense to anyone that likes the first albums but deathcore just isn't it
