@@catmama54 I appreciate you saying that. I love learning new things! It keeps life exciting haha I’m also ADHD, so I think it comes with the territory lol 😆 I tend to hyper fixate and obsess on topics for long periods of time.
Love it ❤ your outside washing place is beautiful. My husband build one in the cabin this summer and I wish I had one at home. So wonderful to be able to make dishes from your own garden food. I love summer for that. Greetings from Norway ☀️✨ Have a great week.
Great video this week! I enjoy buying what's in season and making the most out of it. Peaches and stone fruits can go bad quickly during the summer. I too love making a galette as it's rustic and so simple to put together. The tagine meal looks so yummy. I don't have a targine but I will surely give it a go someday soon.
I love all your videos Rachel. I was wondering about the clay Tanine your using. I saw you put it on the stovetop instead of the oven. I have a similar clay pot, but I've only used in the oven because I didn't think you could put it on a flame. The new chicks are so beautiful. I love the fluff on their ankles. I can't believe the summer is half over.
Hi Rachel! You were mentioning that you took some classes for cooking. Did you take them online? Was one about how to make bread? Thank you! Your videos are always so inspiring.
@@artemisiaby for the breads, I’ve been doing some online research and cookbooks etc. self teaching/practicing to get that right texture and flavor. I went to culinary school back in 2004-2005, but I never worked professionally, so I’m just refreshing my memory on some of what I learned back then. I’ve been watching Master Class, it’s some of the best chefs and pastry chefs in the world sharing their techniques. It’s amazing! 😍😍
Rachel , please tell me your secret on how you guys have apples on your trees already !? We planted a honey-crisp apple tree years ago and we still don’t have apples 🍎 😢my husband has tried everything . Thank you in advance 😊❤ Or does anybody here in the comments have any tips for us ?
@@rachellinebaugh6163 Blue Buffalo is amazing! Great choice! I supplement with homemade food and my dogs love it. I add powdered supplements and salmon oil etc to make sure it’s well rounded. ❤️
@@racheltalbott Very good. But I don't have the time in my day to do that. I wish! But make sure to consult your vet about that homemade dog/cat/chicken food thing. Without proper guidance, homemade food can lead to nutrient deficiencies or excesses that could negatively impact your dog's health. For example, a study by the University of California, Davis, found that 95% of homemade recipes lacked one essential nutrient, and 83% had multiple deficiencies.
Hi Rachel, nice video ❤ Do you guys harvest ur chickens ? Do you get attached to them in anyway ? 😢 they are so so adorable once u touch them . Someday I wanna have them but worry that I may be raising them for eggs only
This flock of chickens is only for eggs. =) If we got meat birds, I couldn't get attached =( but since we do consume chicken, it’s something we’ve considered doing more. We have done it once, and I’m not gonna lie, it was hard. I get very attached.

That outdoor wash area is amazing, do u collect from from it? As it's pretty much clean n can b used for the garden
You pronounce the "t" at the end of "galette" because it's a double "t" and ends with an "e."
