Haha, I LOVED Father Ted back in the day! Funny enough, watching Banshees of Inisherin with Kerry, a lot of the dialogue and obviously the accents reminded me so much of Father Ted. The setting even looked like Craggy Island, lol! And plenty of uses of “feck” and “feckin’” - I love it.

An incredible actress and so under-utilized! If I ever got the opportunity in a director’s chair, even for a big budget film, she’d be one of my top choices.
The first film i seen that Kerry starred in was called Intermission (2003), also stars Cillian Murphy and Colin Farrell. She doesn’t have a big part in that film but it’s a very memorable scene which I won’t spoil, it’s also right at the beginning of the film. Ever since then she’s appeared in so many things that I’ve watched, even Better Call Saul which surprised me at the time. she has amazing range and is a very talented and excellent actress. Her performance in Banshees was definitely Oscar worthy. She seems a genuinely wonderful person and very down to earth, she also happens to have one of the most beautiful accents in the world.
Great to have a wonderful guest back in the closet after St. Vincent's bizzare run. Now there was a lady probably stoned. Nancy was great and has bought enthusiasm dignity and dare I say some semblance of 'normacy' into these wonderful Closet Picks.

She was in HBO’s Luck, that was with Nick Nolte. She has this great line about the horse she rode in a scene. She gets off the horse and she says this horse has got nine more gears. I’m sad for the horses that died in the show but it was a good show.

Her story about her experience with McCabe and Mrs Miller is screamingly hilarious: "An ex-boyfriend gave it to me. And I started watching watching it. And I was like: 'You what? Turn it off!' ... I'm sure it's great, but he did a bit of a number on me!" And a bit later she still comes back to it! How can you not love her???

Plus you add shows or movies like Rome and Better Call Saul. For years,before The Banshees of Inisherin was released,Kerry Condon was incredibly underrated. Really glad she's finally getting the recoginition she thoroughly deserves
Kerry's brogue reminds me of my late grandmother, who was born in Roscommon in Ireland and came to the US in her early twenties. She always retained the accent.
