This is my new go to scene when I wanna rewatch some heartbreaking Ballum scenes. Max an Tony did such a perfect job portraying them. Ben nervously rubbing his lip with his fingers trying not to chew his fingernails. The look between him and Callum and Ben's fake smile instead of a verbal answer.
I think this was such a clever way for Callum to find out. Rather than just being told by ben or finding out through someone else. It was really touching and I feel so emotional. Callum's soft 'who' makes my heart break!!!!!!

I've said this time and time again, I don't think Callum really could have accepted this revelation as fact any other way. It's not copying storylines, all soaps have done the same stories as each other but they do it to spread awareness It's not like they can do an alien invasion storyline or a galactic war, they stick to real life issues and male rape is one of those and anyway David Platt got drugged and passed out, Ben was held down whilst he was saying no the whole time so it's different in that sense, so what happened in the two storylines were completely different mabye it'd be copying if they had the story play out EXACTLY like David Platts but no they didn't
The writers were sloppy the way callum found out… n then he had a complete 180, forgetting the inherent problems of his n ben’s relationship 🥴. Swiftly asking Ben for a reunion, like…. Ben needs time to heal…. Unrealistic and out of character 🫠
