i cant go against my old favorites. they still look great! If I remember correctly they used to be a little lighter though.... They might have slight changes. Last time I wore them was back 2009. I guess it was before Bausch and lomb acquired them.

BeAwesomeInstead love your vids too, they are still helpful. Yes these lenses look very nice but the older version was legendary. They did not have the hints of blue/dots and were a tad lighter. Such a shame.
The starburst or big pupil lenses are best for natural light eyes because it blends. Solid circle (tiny) pupil lenses are best for dark eyes because it'll mask anything that won't blend in and the pupil looks natural. Starburst or big pupil hole lenses look terrible on dark eyes, will appear as "bug" eyes. I use to wear waicon trikolor greens they're my faves and B&L-nc
Yes!! I agree with you! Starburst are for people who have a natural visible color other than dark brown, only then they seem very natural. But with dark eyes, small circles make it look like the “pupil” which is awesome!
I really wish you would do more videos with natural light and what they look like with different lighting. I love the videos though!
I have a weird question
Since you are giving you reviews about contact lenses. I’ve been struggling to find anything similar to Waicon Trikolor Gray (not stylish Gray) I’ve been wearing them for more than 15 years but unfortunately they have been discontinued. What would you recommend instead of Trikolor Gray ? I’ve tried Solictor Hidrocor Grafite (it’s almost the same out color of the Trikolor, but the Grafite doesn’t have three colours.) any recommendations? I paid a lot so far trying to try different contact lenses to match Trikolor but failed with honour. I tried swati Pearl and hidrocor grafite. Do you have a video of you wearing this Trikolor Gray in one eye and color vision Gray? Or any other brand that looks so similar?
Same issue here lol ..tricolor waicon were my favorites and I spent much money on other brands since to match same shade as Waicon gray but couldn't find anything near!kinda desperate now Pls let me know if you find anything your side. Thank you

I have used these since 2009, they hazel was lighter and they changed the green during these years, ppl would never believe it's not my natural color.. Unfortunately I can't find it anymore, they said they stopped making them 😓😭😰😦 and am looking for a substitute

Hi I have heard that the Waicon TriKolor is being discontinued and they are replacing them with A good alternative to Waicon Trikolor are the newly released ColorVision lenses: , so I checked the waicon color vision grey online and I find It totally different in color can you do a video regarding the new colorvision grey ? I’m super curious about the Waikon TriKolor Stylish Gray. Can’t find a video of them anywhere. Not feeling the hint of blue on these, used to look so much better.

These remind me of Cooper Vision Expressions...same pigment and design style...good from afar but obvious pain5 job upfront. Round pupil is more natural when tight and with a mix of shades around the circle like a real iris. Core Aura Blue, Lorans Kadet Gray, Mini Ava Blue and Mini Lapis Gray do this really well. Starburts that try to mimic a blending effect rarely looks good or natural like Air Optix, ColorBlends or some Soloticas.

I prefer the Starburst, I find colours like Solotica Natural Crystal has the inner hole too small, and it blurs my vision and I cannot see very clearly, unless outside sunny day, and cannot see at all at night time, as it blurs my vision extra. I also tried the Waicon a few yrs ago, and it really irritated my eyes, i could not keep them in for longer than 2 minutes.

Why did you stop wearing them? I still have some, and they are still one of the most comfortable brands, but the pattern looks fake up close, IMO

Would you review other Waicon lenses?. The photos in the website makes them no justice.
I used to wear trikolor grey or blue grey contacts from 2000 maybe...not sure since when.... then around 2008 the grey was sooooooo great and light shade... around 2018 i suddenly began noticing it more pixelled more uncomfortABLE AND NOT that bright ... i tried anesthesia and never gone back to dark pixelled trikolor again although ive been their customer for 15 years and more

Hi darling, I am from Argentina, I live in Buenos Aires city, Let me suggest you to get the traditional ones you can use for 2 years, are cheaper comparatively cause these just cost 150 dollars and you can use them for 2 years on a daily basis, proved. Greetings

@@Houdie82 No, unfortunately I don't. I used them for a long time, but now that I need 2 different graduations, 1 for reading another for long distance I prefer wearing glasses. Homeworking had great impact on my eyes. Greetings

As of 2018, the lenses have toned down :( they look a little darker, i wish they were as before.

These were super-uncomfortable on me from the very start--vice-like, in fact, whereas Solotica, Anesthesia, and Fresh Look Colorblends are fine.
I love the trikolor green and gray. Close up you can tell they are lenses. But honestly I can tell about any kind of lenses that they are lenses including solotica. Surprisingly many people thought the trikolor were my real eyes.
I like the smaller pupille hole.
On photos they look very natural too.
The green have a nice blueish green tone.
I prefer these colors to the zombie looking solotica quartzo, which look nice on all the reviews but they look like a lézard in real life

I also find the new opacity of solotica natural crystal is fake looking. And I don’t like their limbal ring, they should have done the limbal areas with the same colour just darker shade instead of black.
One of the fakest looking lenses on the market. I'm so glad contact lens makers are starting to realize that it's ALL about the iris pattern. You can have a beautiful color..but if the iris pattern looks like the inside of a computer..your eyes will be screaming "FAKE!" all day long. Great review as always!
Sorry I do not like them on you, they are very dark, don't make your eyes to pop, make them look smaller and emotionless or sad!
