Kisoro leaders demand Gen. Kayihura's freedom

A group of local leaders from Kisoro district have petitioned Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda seeking the unconditional release or expeditious trial of former Inspector General of Police Gen. Kale Kayihura.
The group that was led the Kisoro district chairman Abel Bizimana held a closed door meeting with Dr. Rugunda at the Prime Minister's office in Kampala.
Gen. Kayihura who is yet to be charged in court has been in military custody for over a month now
