- And finally the final boss of the game, Copy X, leader of Neo Arcadia himself, as well as the ending, in high quality! This boss gave me trouble the first time I fought him as a child, but now he seem smore like childs play, even though i did rather poor on his Serpah Form. Anyways, enjoy, next time is Megaman Zero 2.

I kinda feel bad for Copy-X. All he wanted was to be a Hero like the original X was, he just didn't know how to do it.

Man this was so hype for me Since now Zero was the main character and became my favorite character as soon as he was introduced in the X series. But seeing X return sort of was awesome!

copy x final form design could fit easily in the world of Megaman Legends
Zero mentions his body remembers how strong was the original X... but that doesn't seem very logical, I mean, the times that Zero fought X, was with Omega's body... there's another way he can remember that?
They hadn't come up with the plot of Omega yet. Besides, it's just a metaphor.
Even if he's body is fake, he have sleeping memories of his fights, I mean the body does not have memory at all, but Zero somehow remembers the intesity they used to fight.

RVP77VRE Oh but um..... what about in X5 and again in X6? Weren't the original MMX games before this one? (sorry I only have the X series 4 thru X7, and a rom of X8. I am very curious of this version o_O
SophiaXiaoyu Supposedly this game takes place after the end of X5, but when Capcom decided to continue on, it became harder to track down the exact time of when the X series ended and the Zero series began.
X sacrificed everything for peace and the wellbeing of humans. Never asked for anything in return, not even a compliment.
Capcom needs to honor these heroes by giving them a new awesome adventure

Thanks. I remember the exact day I beat this game the first time I ever did which is rather ironic considering I beat Zero 2 and 3 before this one.
Is it just me, or do i think this boss should have had a X vs. zero (from MMX5) remix?

They're just copies of himself. The point of that line is that his best friend was gone.
@@HipnikDragomir lore from out of game: they were originally his children who fought with him, but the creators then changed them to be his clones. Easy to change since they didn't add either lore to the games at all.
Copy X Fight :
1st Fight = Equipped an Armor of Different Atrribute ;
1. Blue = Normal Attack
2. Orange = Fire Attack
3. Green = Electric Attack
4. Purple = Ice Attack
2nd Fight = Activate a Seraph Form
Man, I'd guess I'd play easy again with all the cyber elves and then do hard, then hard with all cyber elves , then jackson and then ultimate. That's a lot for just the first game. Btw, I got the Zero Collection, and it's sick!

Fun fact: he was originally supposed to be, but the developers changed it 30 days prior to release because they knew that a lot of people looked up to X as a hero and they didn't want to sully that image.

"We realized that having the original X as the last boss and having him done away with like that wouldn't sit so well with all of the young boys and girls that really do see him as a hero. On top of that, the "X" series was still continuing, so we put in an emergency stop and inserted Copy X."

Are the Zero games easier to beat without upgrades than the X series? Because I found X2 damn near impossible to beat without upgrading life and having at least 1 or 2 sub tanks.
+Zeus Poseidon I don't know, because I never tried to beat the X games with out the upgrades xD But the Zero games are pretty freaking hard. Sometimes even with the upgrades.
yes the zero series are easier than the x series without upgrades cuz i can beat megaman zero 1 without upgragrades but with x 1 i cant beat it without grabbing that hadouken also the zero games penalize you for using upgrades so yeah
The Zero games will make you bleed for your victories. But damn if you don't feel like a total bad-ass after each one epecially when your getting A-S Ranks. :) The collection is definitely worth buying.

Will you be able to get S Ranks if you used cyber elves to increase your health?
You can't use Cyber Elves for any reason, period. I know it sucks, but the Ranking criteria doesn't change because of your desperation, sorry to tell you that.

2. Go down to floor 5 and go right until you reach a door
3. Talk to ceravu and you will get triple rod (complete a mission when you have obtained triple to get shield Boomerang)

@@bulb9970 cyber elves are involved with all your upgrades, but you are penalized for using them. Also acquiring and feeding all the elves without using them nets you a powerful elf post game. Then using all the elves in a second playthough unlocks Ultimate mode where you have all the upgrades but all the elves are alive meaning no penalties.
