As far as CHI and CID and Higgins I was involved in their port designs and manifolds also. CID is in Minnesota and the castings come from Profiler, I hope that helps.
I ordered my Higgins sbf heads directly from them. Stand up people and excellent products. Zach Smith at ZSR engines in Missouri is now a dealer. He only does Ford engines though. He’s also a good dude. Ordered a lot of parts from him and when the time comes he at least do the machining and possibly the assembly.

I used to work on a lot of those Pro Topline cast iron SBC and SBF for circle track guys. I believe that they became RHS. Thanks for another informative video.
RHS was a porting service back in the day. They started Comp Cams in the sixties. Then the tail wagged the dog in the 80's and Comp Cams shut the doors on RHS. In the early 20's Comp bought the Pro Topline foundry in New Zealand and revived the RHS name. I have RHS heads on my 351W stroker 389, unfortunately times have not been good for RHS once again, I believe they have disappeared.
Very fortunate to live above 1 Hr away from Higgins heads in Melbourne, Australia. We have a set of his LS3 heads, they’re brilliant and cost effective.
My engine builder recommended Liberty for my build. He said their head was a good bang for the buck. It's the first aluminum headed sbc engine I've had. So far so good. No fancy script out front but I'd. The engine runs good and has not had any issues so far.

Just subscribed and have been looking through your library but can't seem to find anything on the AFR V2 Heads. Purchased a set of 335 for a twin turbo race motor. I was told the AFR had .250 more meat on the deck so works best on turbo applications. Originally had a set of Dart Pro One of the same size that needed work. Tried to get them refreshed at Dart (World Mach.) And couldn't even get them to answer. Should I be concerned about the rocker studs protruding down into the intake runners on my new afr sbc 195’s
No
Just subscribed and have been looking through your library but can't seem to find anything on the AFR V2 Heads. Purchased a set of 335 for a twin turbo race motor. I was told the AFR had .250 more meat on the deck so works best on turbo applications. AFR were super supportive even going as far as swapping out springs due to the lighter rates on the as sold Heads. AFR are really great to work with IMO. Originally had a set of Dart Pro One of the same size that needed work. Tried to get them refreshed at Dart (World Mach.) And couldn't even get them to answer. I would appreciate any ideas you may have. Mark Samford in Abilene massaged em lightly. (Guides/chambers)
How about the EQ aluminum LS heads.
What is your take on trick flow twisted wedge clevor heads
Really want to try BR1-13 heads on a 416ci LS3 motor....
They are pretty good
do the blueprint heads feature a .500 raised exhaust port? if so do you need special headers to run them?
Let me ask you a question years ago I bought a 1967 nova ss with a super high reving small block like 10,000. Rpm high on the build sheet the heads were listed as brownfield heads the castings were brodex was brownfield a porting guru or have you ever heard of him or that company
Funny cause I borrowed in the late 70's a set of Canfield alloy heads from my speed shop with brodex stamp worked great on my L79 block 327 for the drags 10.65 1/4 tunnel ram 660 holleys but had heard they were brownfield ported brings back memories
Edelbrock makes ford racing intakes too!
As someone who has a Mk3 supra. My knee jerk response is turbo. But the super charger idea has me thinking 🤔
What happened to the Patriot heads?
What cam is in the truck sounds nice.
I have a set of victor jr sbc heads are these performance oriented are like stock replacements should I get rid of them and switch to something els I think there from the early 2000s there on a 383
What about CFE and Allpro?
Is this vid just sticking to OEM valve angle stuff?
What do you think about the Brodix Race Rite sbc heads?
just call higgins in australia and becoem a dealer. i cant see it hurting there company
What about the GM PERFORMANCE FASTBURN ALUMINUM HEADS!!!!
going about private equity. at current trend to energy cost, they are unlikely to snap a company with foundry, unless more "affordable" tracks built and events.
Is the dart ls head. The mozez ?
Great video thanks. Any intel on AllPro or Australian casting Racer Pro?
Thanks. I will mention them at a later date.
Great content Thank You which Trick Flow twisted wedge heads would You recommend for a good street able 347 SBF with an Edelbrock Pro Flow 4 system backed up by an AOD and 3.73 gears in a 92 Fox Body coup . Any information that You can share will be greatly appreciated , Thank You . 🇺🇲🇵🇷🦊👍
What do you think of the afr 335 bbc enforcer heads ?
Where does all pro rank on the list?
Near the top
I was surprised AllPro didn’t make the list.
Have you ever looked at TEA ported trick flow heads
Yes for mopar.
That's funny, I compare Dart & Brodix as well. Brodix just reminds me of old racer stuff your dad would use. Dart and AFR has newer age appeal.
Are the valves that come on the liberty ls1 heads any good or would they need to be purchased bare and fitted with other valves? Would these heads be better as cast than a set of 243/799?
I thought Allpro was as good as you could get as far as sbc stuff?
Eric, I have a 1966 Pontiac 389. What head would you recommend..?
Whatever you can get at this point.
I know this is an older video and I apologize but what was your thoughts on MBE for small block Ford. I'm pretty much talking about small block Ford for everything... Original OG Fox body guy... Grew up with them
He makes very good heads.
