- Julio Rosas spoke with Bill Monaghan, a resident of Springfield, Ohio, to get to the source of the rising tensions in the area. Monaghan explained that although the massive influx of Haitian immigrants has been linked to duck disappearances, deaths as a result of reckless driving, and women feeling unsafe in their hometown, the local administration has insinuated that anyone who speaks up is a racist. But these scare tactics haven't intimidated everyone.

@@rjay7019 well if they care about being a citizen which apparently they don’t, because they can get all the benefits of a citizen without becoming one, they would go to school any time they’re told. No school attendance no benefits and you’re deported back to your own country after the third time you don’t show up. Reading, writing in the English language would be taught as well as civics. You don’t want to go to school or you flunk you get deported along with your family. You only get one chance and you can’t reapply.

I doubt you will ever get rid of them, they have it way too good to ever want to leave. So good, in fact, they will be bringing their huge families over by the boatload to join them.
The EXACT same thing happened in Southern Minnesota in the late 90s - early 2000s .....The only difference was that the "immigrants" there were from Somalia ....

Read the Immigration Act of 1986 (think acronym is IRCA) where they can not be discriminated against, and that includes discriminating against citizenship..
