  • Assalamu alaikum everyone!
    For being a non dressy girl, this was quite the step outside of my comfort zone. My previous experience with Modanisa has been rough, to say the least, so have I learned by my mistakes? And what do I actually think about jilbab? Watch to find out :D
    Jilbab from Tasnim Collections!

    There’s a sizing chart in modanisa where you can see the measurements of each size. Super helpful if you have a measuring tape. But yeah they’re usually pretty small.

    You are looking gorgeous with the Djelbab and Abaya on Mash'Allah 🤧💥🌹(we call the second choice "Hijab" for the dress and Khimar for the headscarf). I'm a raised Muslim woman but never had the chance to try on Djelbab or Abaya as I used to have negative thoughts about it, but Alhamdulillah 🤲 Allah never let me down and guided me towards him again by putting such great people like you ❤️ on my way. Going to give the Jelbab a shot 🤗💖😌 Insh'Allah.

    I love all your videos and they have all helped me so much to learn about Islam. All of the abayas and jilbabs look amazing MashAllah, I absolutely love the dark green one. Your videos are amazing and there are not many other Muslims on TH-cam in Scandinavia and I really appreciate your videos. I am myself not Muslim and I live in Sweden but one day Inshaallah I hope to revert.

    Thank you for making a video for curvy women, most who show their Muslim clothing are thin. Which makes those of us with curves wonder if we would ever pull it off. You are beautiful in them. Don’t be fearful of wearing any of these looks in public. I’m not Muslim but I admire and respect your sense of modesty. Your clothing is beautiful and flowing. I love how flowing the first outfit is. Looks so comfortable. Be blessed.

      So sorry for the late reply! But thank you very much for the sweet comment💕 it definitely can be challenging to navigate modest clothing with curves. Big plus is that they're really comfortable hahah

    I don't know what words you use. I wear modest clothes but not familiar with the words u call them... I'm American Christian and I like to shop Muslim modesty clothing but I don't know the words. Can you do a video on what you call all the diff clothing? Every time I shop I must learn because I have to shop outside my community at Islamic or Jewish shops but it's hard to search one or look for reviews when everyone calls things differently depending on culture, religion and country and areas around the world they come from is all different.

    • @halalsnackpack
      @halalsnackpack  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The first outfit I wear is a jilbab, and essentially they all look like that with baggy 'pants' or a skirt. Other than that abaya is used synonymously with long dresses or long outer garment :)

    Fun you think dresses make you stick out I thought they helped me be more of a proper women and stick out less but more in an odd way... like being seen only for the right reasons and not being seen at all for other things. I was more noticeable before..... my figure and red hair... vanity.... covered I represent God now not me and I had so much attention before in a bad way so even though I look different now and stick out like that I don't stick out as .....lustful. don't know if that makes sense

    • @halalsnackpack
      @halalsnackpack  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I totally agree with that. I think it's a very mental thing for me cause I'm so not used to wearing dresses cause I've always hated wearing them, unless for very dolled up occasions. I think that's why I feel I stand out more cause personally I'm not used to seeing myself in a long dress 😅👗

    • @LampWaters
      @LampWaters 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@halalsnackpack I got some long tunics and I'm loving them. Still can wear pants or skirts but the longer tunic tops make me feel more feminine. I got some that button down and I've been layering and wearing them like spring jackets. I can tell my husband like it too... even just around the house they are comfortable and add just a touch of feminine. I can wear jeans and a t-shirt and throw on a button down tunic and a nice head covering and I'm effortlessly more put together and feel more like a woman.

    Sister Juliana + husband. When are you visiting MALANG, East Java, Indonesia. Malang, i am sure you are going to like it. Malang is called apple city because it is the only place/city that has proper weather/climate to grow apples. It is also called student city because it is the only independent city that has almost 50 higher education/universities. It is also called flower city because it is one the best place/soil to grow flowers. If you are not coming to Malang, we will come to Oslo, Norway in July 2022 after visiting out daughter who has beeen studying in Finland for two years now. We hope to meet you in Oslo, Norway. Is it ok to you? Love from Indonesia.

    I use to wear dresses and skirts then I broke my foot and it never healed properly so now after so long in a boot cast and learning to use my foot again I still can't wear just any shoes and that makes it more difficult to wear dress abd skirts and I find myself wearing more pants now but uts so uncomfortable for multiple reasons but dress and my feet that's uncomfortable too having dress in tge way and no shoe options. So I have to find new ways to be feminine. I'm casual, cheap, mom, no fuss and skirts were my go to for feeling like a women or having any color, fun or anything in my wardrobe. I'm going to invest in some nice pants and long duster shawls or button ups and see if I add more length to my tops I can feel like I'm wearing a dress, still wear pants and the proper safe shoes I need but feel more like a woman again.
