The mother's case really makes me want to hear Conrad say "I am here to bring you peace" when the ghosts answer to the EVP of "Do you know why I'm here?", poor woman was so scared...

Theory: The seance opened a portal which allowed a demon to come through, which is what drove the Lipstick Killer. That'll probably be the ghost you find in the cave.
Conrad: See's full body apparition of lady right next to him 👻

Also Conrad: Dies of ringing phone.
Conrad after the investigation: “Here’s what I found. Your place is mega haunted and you should probably call a Medium.”
The person who asked for the investigation: “Mega… haunted..?”
"Yes, mega haunted. Turbo haunted, even."

Insym, I had a thought after the last episode. What if the Lipstick Killer, who claimed insanity was honestly blacking out but it was from a demon possession cause by all of the deaths and possible seances? What if the ghost in the cave is a victim AND the demon that killed them?
I'm wondering if the camera only takes pictures if you're not in frame. Ya know, so we don't break the illusion of what Conrad looks like. It feels like a deliberate choice by the devs rather than a bug, but I could be wrong.
Also the bit with him being scared by the phone was hilarious.

The first time the auto cam worked (on Douglas) was, when you placed the D.O.T.S pen in front of it. Maybe you need something to make the ghost visible for the camera, not just simple materialisation 😊
The other time the E.M.F generator was in front of it in the hallway. So that's my guess, you need a second device in conjunction with the cam.

I love how there's clearly room for at least 3 more ghosts on the lighthouse map.
The obvious one is the cave / lipstick killer
But there's also the barn, which is where the field hospital was. You could have a former patient haunting the place. Imagine if you could hear the memory of dozens of pained moans and the screams of those whose limbs were amputated there.
There's also the slave quarters, where George resides.
Could also add a ghost to the playground, even if the lore hasn't yet been built for it.
Trying not to spoil anything, but I'd love to see more videos on the ParaVox and ParaBox. Many of the ghosts have 16 extra voicelines to hear using these new tools!

I don't know if this would completely break the game's genre, but I think it would be interesting to be able to visit the town during the day to follow up on the notes by talking to the "living" residents. Like, you select your notes at the computer, and then go to the map and decide if you want to investigate the map at night, or visit the map during the day. When you're there during the day, you can find people (maybe an employee working in the gift shop) and talk to them using the EVP system, and they can give you more information regarding the note you asked about. Maybe it's even possible to find more information during the day by going to places that are locked at night. Maybe check in on the families that you're helping, ask them about the things you found (maybe asking the "wrong" questions around the girl who might be possessed will make her angry with Conrad). Day time can still be creepy, especially when there's a cult in town.
I don't know if this would slow the game down too much, or if it would add to the immersion. I like to write whodunnits, so this is how my brain works.
Always gotta watch these videos, one of the best ghost hunting games.

I love Conrad much more than Phasmo. Im not really into games that ya breeze through. I much prefer the relaxed slow place ones.

I loved it that Conrad has been scared by his own office phone. So relatable. 😂😂😂

The white pixels actually is the ghost roaming. You can see them in the dark also.
I suspect that if you’re ready with a instrument is less probable that the correspondent evidence happens. I.e.: I switch back and forth between paramic and camera to get the evidence when happens.
You can activate the recorder or para mic and switch to other tool while it is recording. If a sound happens you get it (each room records for 5 secs aprox) and you get the evidence. The para mic is OP for this (I get very fast all sound evidences)
You can tell where to find the special pieces of documents for the archive because you can hear a strong ambiental sound (I don’t know how to describe it, it’s like static) that disappears after you pick it up.
Most ghosts have routines o common paths.
I couldn’t get the last audio from the man, maybe it’s bugged? Nobody could complete the achievement in steam yet.

47:00 About the white dots you saw on the camera, I already saw them on the garage ghost on the first house without using the camera (and even when replay the mission over and over again i saw them everytim), is it a bug or not, maybe it is but it actually help you knowing the position on the ghost and if they're moving (you can look at the dots and listen to the footsteps to tell that those dots are tied to a ghost)

even after C-sections women have weeks to months of pain and immovability as they have to literally cut through skin, muscle, pull organs out of the way and cut into the uterus just get everything put back to place once the baby is out. There’s reason why women usually forget the worst parts of labour and pregnancy
Btw please do fact-check me if I got some info wrong, all info is from my sister who has had 3 bubs and since the first Bub needed an emergency c-section, has had one for each Bub so to not have complications during birth with the scar

i like how this game doesn’t try to kill you. makes it better in my opinion but phas is still top tier ghost hunting.
The laser pen seems to have a similar effect to a sort of lidar set-up... maybe you need to have the pen on in conjunction for the camera to work- like the disturbance of the laser field might trigger the camera? Also, best used in low-light, but not sure if that matters in-game.
I was going to say this too, since the pen doesn’t really have any other function and that camera is taking pictures in a different light spectrum. Would make sense that it functions better with the pen on anyways
@@boomisanhaur agreed. Since the dot matrix's whole point is to detect disturbance it only seems to make sense to me that if nothing else it might trigger the camera easier, if not required entirely

This ghost was a nice return to form, IMO. The slow burn and creepy house were fantastic.

The lighthouse story is super similar to a real haunted lighthouse which makes sense considering they want to make it as realistic as possible.

In the museum you can see at rooms that they moved the barriers so you can go into them.
I always like to imagine if ghosts would "build/form" as quickly or oftenly as depicted in these games we'd be drowning in ghosts here in europe. Like this Lighthous is old, from the early 1800s, but there are so many towns in ie germany that are so much older. The town I live in is dates to the 1300s at least and it's not even one of the oldest ones. (And yes I know there were people on the US continent before America was formed, I'm talking about towns and citys). I mean we'd be seing ghosts left, right and central if the would really be forming this oftenly over all of history
The mother in the hallway was a total shock. (Good story shock tho! Nice emotional sucker punch. Very ow. You could feel everyone in chat’s shocked silence for a good beat and half there.)
I would LOVE VR support for this game, like even basic support for head and arm movement would be amazing. I prefer this over phasmo for the more grounded approach to it

you need the laser pen to highlight the ghosts for the automatic camera to take their photograph.
Saw the playlist yesterday and was like "Sure, why not?" Only just noticed I've listened to 31 episodes and I still have 6 to go. Why would you do this to me, Insym.
It took me way too long to realize that the "P.I." in "Paranormal P.I." meant "Private Investigator"
You need to move the rem pod closer to the room for it to go off, it is a close range device it’s too far away from the door the have to be very close to it. Same with the camera you have to bring it closer or move it into a different angle if your not getting anything. I think it takes a second or two to register the ghost. Also I would use the other microphone most of the time it picks up sounds way further away, I’m pretty sure it’s just picks up a 360 degree perimeter around you meters away, it doesn’t just work in the direction your facing.
I've been playing this game and showing my friends, loving the storyline so far and the unpredictable scares that get even me. The award winning question is "Are you French" and I tell friends I got it from you because I don't feel right taking credit 😂
Not gonna lie, Conrad can be a bit disconnected with his surroundings. Like no way you are that glued to the thermal reader to miss a full apparation standing in front of you.
Gotta wonder if in the cut material Insym managed to find the 2 small houses that I think might have belonged to the slaves.

The dots pen is OP now with this patch. Deirdra was always appearing when I placed it. Sadly the auto cam seems to be broken. For me it only takes one picture.

I was wondering if there were only four ghosts on this map? I didn't get any evidence in the barn and small hospital, but did manage to capture most of Douglas, Deirdre, Eli and the poltergeist.
I belive with that spooky radio you can detect the ghost location cuz made different sound in different location, maybe idk

Oh hey it quite does look like it! Hmmmm maybe the theory of many in the comments might be true as in the lore there were those who tried to seance in that location so maybe due to all of the sessions, a portal opened up and something nasty came out which would be why Dev is working hard on the Lipstick killer ghost. Maybe he was possessed as many said and that cave was where the portal opened up.
I mean Dev wants to add harm to Conrad in a future update so that cave could probably be a good reason for doing just that as it does looks like the end of the movie

Honestly I wanna see a ghost that's just an animal, like a dog, or a cat, or something similar. Not like the wendigo, since that's different, but just an animal who passed away and never moved on.
imagine a little dogie ghost that'll follow you around and bark or whimper to notify you of another ghost event. and of course we should be able to pet it

Can an animal even become a ghost in any lore? According to Christian lore, animals do not have a soul, so they cannot become a ghost - i.e a lost soul.

Really curious if the camera at 43:20 is programmed to only go off when you as the player are not nearby and maybe that's causing some weird glitch in the program.
