This makes SO MUCH SENSE!!! Looking at it from an anxiety standpoint alone! Always seeing any perceivable threat, potential arguments, issues, things that could go wrong in order to prepare one to react accordingly.

Peterson is the man. "pay attention". "life is rough".

Just wow, absolutely amazing. This stuff should be taught at school, I feel like I could have tackled myself before the imaginary monster controlled me. Thank you Professor Peterson.

Are visual thinkers that can see big picture concepts on right,, Then search the left for the connected detail picture. If you sat four students together two big pictures with two detail oriented students you may accomplish more do you think?

Mental illness is related to the overuse of the left hemisphere. A balance is needed between the two hemispheres to live a well-balanced life.

It would be interesting to hear how the human pattern of handedness & related cerebral asymmetry as a balanced polymorphism is understood these days from an evolutionary & contemporary perspective. I sound like a train spotter....

I know I’m just a right handed man but…. Seems to me EVERYTHING comes down to Yin and Yang. Balance. I’m a simple man but this just sounds simple to me. From our most basic elements to the expanse of the universe, it is all based upon balance. Maybe using the word “sides” inhibits us from realizing the balance or osmosis of everything. I don’t know. Been a long day and wanted to feel smart.

When you are cooking. Do you get all the ingredients out first or do you get things as you needs them? The first is left brain and the second is right brain 👍

9:22 Is it now? Morality is a monkey’s brain farting ‘truth’. I’m not surprised to hear that from you, Peterson. ‘It depends on what you mean by “truth”’. Truth is one thing is you ate just beans, and another thing if you ate beans as side to monkey steak.

The books that have this information in them would be helpful. I believe it’s true because of the case studies done on people that have different areas of their brain damaged and observations made after the damage. Have you studied sonething that tells you something else?
