- Fairly OddParents has been around OVER 15 years and is one of Nickelodeon's longest running animated series. Created by Butch Hartman, Fairly OddParents follows Timmy Turner as he gets every wish he ever wanted granted by his fairy godparents! After 10 season, multiple specials and even a live action movie (yes!), the series has changed quite a bit!! So Channel Frederator is bringing you Then VS. Now Fairly OddParents!

Butch you're awesome, but dude I'd love to see a new season of Danny Phantom. IMO it's the best show you ever did and if Nickelodeon ever decided to pick it up again I know I'd totally watch every waking minute of it.
A noticeable difference between Stephen Hillenburg and Butch Hartman is, that Stephen atleast tries to bring back stuff from the old Spongebob seasons (characters like Bubble Bass or Mystery the seahorse for an example).
I prefer Cosmo's voice from the early seasons and the hand drawn animation but I don't hate the modern show. Seasons 1-8 are the good seasons and Seasons 9-10 are just mediocre but not terrible as most older fans think. I view the main cartoon in three separate universes. One containing the first eight seasons, the second is Season 9 and the third is Season 10. Season 9 is a different universe because it breaks a lot of continuity from the first eight seasons and Season 10 is separate from Season 9 due to Sparky not being seen or mentioned.
I think the big issue with Chloe and Sparky, at least for me, is not that they were brought into the show, but HOW they were brought in. In Sparky's introduction, you essentially retconned one of the best early episodes of the show, that being the one where Timmy's pet gerbil came back to life as a zombie. That episode described Timmy as a good pet owner who just had terrible parents who never cared for the pets while Timmy was away. And with Chloe's, she was brought in as a complete Mary Sue who everyone except the main character likes yet her whole reason for needing fairies is that she's too nice to make friends... which didn't appear anywhere in the episode save for that moment of explanation. If they were introduced with better story writing, I think people would have been more open to them.
When I first watched Flash animated Fairly Odd Parents, I thought it was a commercial.......

I want Butch to talk more about the rejected show which Crocker and Dimmsdale were taken from.
The change to flash is a bit jarring tbh.
If you count it's Oh Yeah Cartoons debut, the show is 19 years old.
Like SpongeBob, people prefer the earlier seasons, but I still find it enjoyable.

Why does Chloe need fairly oddparents?. You only get fairly oddparents if you suffer or is sad/ bad childhood.

Actually, i loved poof and i liked Sparky. I don’t like chloe, not because she was brought into the show but how you portray her. You make her this Mary Sue that needs fairies. Fairies are given to children who are miserable. I.E: Timmy’s Parents barely pay attention to him and he has a Killer Baby sitter.
