such a great description of "backing it in" as opposed to "rowing it in" and it's these important yet much less discussed technical elements that make your channel stand out - nice.
Great video again! As a non-rower (erg rowing only) I always like the more analytical parts. Maybe an idea to do a post-trials In-depth explaining where you gained/lost and why? Good luck this weekend and Yam on!
Having the best nutritional regime is incredibly important and working with a professional is a great move. If I have the same total energy input, but the wrong ingredients and micronutrients it can easily cost me 12 min. on a marathon.
As I mentioned. It’s not aiming literally for back splash. It’s the feeling of doing that. I’m so used to rowing it in so when it feels like a lot of back splash to me, actually it’s not and probably “symmetrical” or even still rowing it in
Hey Cameron, if possible please can you let me know what go pro mount you use on the front of your boat, as I am struggling to find ones that are suitable for rowing online?
If you are looking for new rowing kit for your club, let me know here: www.yamsquad.com/yamsquadkit
Good luck at trials Cam!
I love the talking-head over the rowing footage format btw!

Love the new video format
Brings me back to the first season of the videos a few years ago!
that jacket is glorious
Like the commentary on top of the rowing footage Cam. Best of luck this weekend!

So glad you are focusing on your food. Will make a big difference I suspect. Need the high octane fuel!
Unfortunately won't make a difference if I don't row well!
You will.
Great to see preparation is going well. Have a fab trial and make sure you leave it all out there on the water #yamsquad
Love the new video format too! Can't wait for the new merch

Symmetrical splash might be even better. That would imply no horizontal forces.

I like the commentary in the box!
Glad to see you checking off the nutrition box/ advice, because you are what you eat...
Nice row in 'not Australia'! All best for the trials.
Good to cover off the diet. But I’m still missing the “breaded egg toast” 🤤 😊
"What's that Coach? Front end warmup? With square blades? In this stream? No problem." Hope your weekend goes well.
btw Cam on the webpage in your link there's a typo where you say "out specialty" instead of our specialty
Thanks for the heads up! Should be fixed now!

I make a video going over the top GoPro mounts for rowing 👍
@@CameronBuchan oh awesome thanks 🤩
The year is 2041. Cam does another blog not in Australia
Hello Cam I have a question: what is better, ave rowing or wintech Racing?
It’s a shame you had to wear socks today ;)
Good luck at the trials cam
For the algo

"rowing is a rowing sport" That is when I found out this man is all about business💪🦵
