The way he tries to incorporate Andy into the conversation is hilarious. Turning his body towards him randomly. He's awesome.
Most of his top tier guests do this. Its really good behavioural and conversational skill
Basically if you're an intern for Conan, you're golden
Georgina Maris if you're an intern in Conan, you will mist likely become a very famous and successful person
Which is what pisses me off, because I made it through the interview process to be an intern for Conan back in 2010 when he got his new show, and my school (a private, Christian college) would not let me count it as credit and I didn't get to do it.

I HATE when those snotty universities try to capitalize on someones success but wouldn't give them the time of day when they needed it. No offense to Conan's almamatur. And I spelled that word wrong cuz Harvard didn't accept me.

Is it just me or is Birbiglia looking more and more suitable for playing the father of teenagers on a sitcom?
Up till now I still thought of Mike as being one of them young upstart comedians.
I wonder how much real anger was in Birbiglia's voice there. He really put a lot of energy into that, which considering how slow and lethargic his delivery is most of the time seems a bit out of place. Also, it's not like he ended up skating through the local community college. He graduated from Georgetown, a school almost as selective and at least as hard to get through.
Acceptance rate for Georgetown is several times higher.
That's because Harvard is so difficult to get into that the rate is quite small. It's still very difficult to get into Georgetown. Besides, most of this "selectivity" has less to do with the quality of education and more to do with name recognition and reputation. You'll get a world class education at Georgetown just like Harvard, especially at the undergraduate level.
Well not quite, Georgetown is an excellent school, but it's much easier to get in compared to Harvard. Still not easy, but much easier. Harvard is stupidly selective.
Andy is underutilized. He's the funniest person on the show.

"Me and Harvard really fit." Conan's condescending laugh at his contradicting sentence was one of the only times I laughed at this bit. He did not need much explaining after that as to why he didn't get in, that sentence was enough.
He was obviously joking.
That sentence was not contradictory.
That is not a contradiction. It's silly, yes, because intelligent people know that is worded incorrectly, but it is not a contradiction.

Everybody say the same thing about degrees, that when you finish you do not now to do anything. Then, why corporations value them so much when you apply for a job?.
What he should have said was... nothing! Another story for his secret public journal, lol. My initial reaction was that he shouldn't have said FU Harvard, but I always say that no one should be safe from comedians, so Harvard shouldn't be any different.

Birbigs is a funny, funny man but ..... sometimes his delivery is just lacking. The content is there but, he just doesn't have that homerun punchline
I think Mike is hilarious but you should never speak on someone elses behalf, even if it just a joke, people might get the wrong idea. I think thats why Conan looked awkward
