Why are people nagging about Deadmau5' recent songs? "Oh it's empty" "Oh it's repetitive?" Honestly guys this is Deadmau5! He has songs that are repetitive, songs that are heavy, songs that are lighter. You guys act as if you don't know him. How can those songs feel empty? I just don't get it.
The bridges simply over shadow the chorus so when it actually comes it's a disappointment. Avaritia is the best eg of this so far. The bridge and build up is flawless but the chorus is simply dull. I am huge fan of Deadmau5 but this albums previews have been missing the full thick sound or emotion of other songs of his. I will listen to it in full no doubt but I am not expecting too much anymore.

I like that this is actually original and different opposed to his usual generic house pounding repetitive sound that he's been doing so many albums now. This reminds me some of Get Scraped (first album which was VERY experimental, it's good). While this is good, my only complaint is that it's too repetitive and needs some more variation, could have put a little more effort in. Other than that, good song.
Because this is the same melody over and over. With ANY song, if you put more stuff in the melody as long as it works, it shows you're not just hitting a repeat button. I'm a music producer have been for 8 years. I like this song, I like his music, just it's my opinion and I feel that he could've done a little more with this, that's all. I'm not stupid.
There's a HUGE difference between progressive and repetitive. Progressive builds up into something better, and can be repetitive, but this is too much. Repetitive means the same noise over and over again, too much.
I agree. Could use more variation with the high hats about half way into the track.. could've picked up the pace. I felt like at some point in the song, the track would take off a bit but it stays the same throughout the entire song. Still a good track. I dig the new direction he's taking his music in (old school daft punk).
