    FINALLY I FOUND A GOOD EXPLANATION ON ENDPOINTS. All the answers I found just used simple examples, even my professors.

    In integration to deal with areas affecting volume of air passage, density and pressure.Must establish an outline graph characterizing flows of air, over any, some aero-frame and how this in the read-out corresponds to varied outflows as expressed on still paper, and or electronic graphics as an active flow scenario."I always come back to here, she's so popular". Thanks for the refresher Krista.

    what if n is not given in the question like this example and how we can use riemann sums :
    Use Area under the curve definition with Xk as the right end-point of each sub-interval , to find area under the curve of f(x)= 4- (x^2)/4 Over the interval (0,3)
    thanks

    • @kristakingmath
      @kristakingmath  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You can pick your own n. I would either use 0,1,2,3 as the divisions between the rectangles, or break them at the halves, like 0,1/2,1,3/2,2,5/2,3.

    Is there a way to calculate Riemann Sum across a large interval with a large n... since it would be extremely impractical to calculate each interval by hand (like done in the video).

    • @kristakingmath
      @kristakingmath  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can do it with a computer, but not by hand, for the reason you mentioned. But that's why we try to use integrals instead of Riemann sums! :)

    What if you are not told what n is?

    • @theadel8591
      @theadel8591 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bearded Dragon Owners then you choose considering that as n increases the approximation is more accurate and considering b-a/n

    • @Ken-zo9ln
      @Ken-zo9ln 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This answer is incredibly late, but you would find the limit of the sum (written as summation) as n goes to infinity. Basically integrals
