    To me Mr. Morgan has created a dream job for himself. He'll always have demand for his services. He gets to work with his hands. The problems he solves honestly helps people. As an added benefit he is able to show people his work and brings knowledge and ideas to the community (us).
    I'm certain you put a lot of hard work into building your business. You are inspiring! You are truly blessed, sir!

      @@2121contreras it’s a decent size one (for one guy anyway). I’m pretty slammed schedule wise, but they really wanted me to do it. I am for sure doing all the framing/drywall/etc. They may have to bring in flooring and painting from someone else.
      I told them I would work on it till my Quadplex gets underway.

    I'm glad there's some creative freedom in that job instead of a rigid engineer plan. First thing bad Joey no kneeler pad shame! I recommend a wheelbarrow on jobsite so reduce your labor back and forth even a rubbermaid cart helps. A tip for all that drywall dust and cleanup is to use a rubber squeegee or rubber broom with nubs on it. It makes your life alot easier. I'm excited you get to film some of this for us I know many people will be happy as well.

      Yeah I didn’t bring my whole arsenal with me that day.. I mostly was just trying to see if something they changed their mind on would work without any major issues.
      I decided to rip that drywall off because it was going to happen no matter what they decide.

      This is important does your area require a window as egress in each office? I had a few alternatives to offer on the layout but that's a important question

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance  27 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@MattHmm-rq6dn 90% of that existing layout is there.
      The two new rooms originally was going to use the 2nd door off the entry and build a L shaped hall to the bathroom with the rooms off that.
      Now they are wanting to delete that 2nd door off the entry and come through that hallway… so customers don’t get confused which door to come in.
      So not having that other door is part of the equation too… I’ll email you what I sent them

    Hey Joey, good stuff here! I am glad this building is getting repurposed. What is it with Dentist’s Office and a hair salon next door? It is a common them it seems. I guess, women get their teeth worked on, then their hair? 😂 I wonder what happened, if the Doctor retired, or passed away. It is sad, but Life goes on.
    I liked the way You took out that drywall. Was it nailed up? The building/ Office looks to be out of the late 70’s, maybe early 80’s?
    @ 11:15 Wow, what a mess You made there Joey! 🙄
    @ 13:23. Whew, no more music! 😯
    @ 15:15 what is that device to the left of the plans? Some kind of tablet?
    Take care and stay safe friend! 👍💪🙏

      @MORGANSMaintenance  27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@georgedavall9449 I’m not sure what happened to the Dentist. It is quite dated, so my guess is retired. It’s in a town I don’t typically work in.
      The thing next to the drawings is a little Pad Folio. Takes the little notepads… like 5x7 or something like that. I like those because they are easier to handle with tape measures and things when I’m looking at jobs.

    For this kind of demo check this out Makita XDS01Z. It's a bit slower than a sawzall, but you can connect a vacuum. I hate that drywall dust.
    It's gonna be a good project. If you can, make a series out of it, please.

      @@MORGANSMaintenance As for Makita availability. Here we have mobile Makita demo teams. They either have scheduled events or you can call them and they will come to you with a truck full of tools. You could check if there's anything like this in your area. I also get tools for testing from Polish Makita HQ, but they're less than 60 miles from me.

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance  26 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@mdunbar04 I usually don’t take on this much by myself just because it’s not efficient. I will at times have another guy help me, but this is in a town a little farther away from where we both normally work and live. I wouldn’t be doing it because of that if it wasn’t for this particular customer.
      I am also slammed with other work, but they wanted me to do it. I told them I would work on it when I could and that they might have to involve some others if it gets behind schedule for them. They wanted me to at least try and get it figured out and get it to a point that would be hard for others to mess up.
      This is a typical job that me and my friend will take on when can help each other. He can help me on mine, and I can help him on his. We both have our own separate companies.
