I hope to come back soon to create new content, thanks for watching! Unfortunately I have been on hiatus since 10-24 due to a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.

I've been teaching 4/5's for 30 years. This year, for the first time, I'm teaching 3's. I've done this modeling many times. And it's great. This year, with the 3's has been a huge learning curve for me. When I stood up and ran around, saying this was what NOT to do, they all got up and ran around screaming! LOL. Listening and understanding skills! Way different. I'm learning to change how I approach verbal/modeling instruction with this age group! LOL

Thanks for the strategies & techniques queues, warnings are respectful ways to signal a change will be taking place. I like the way you highlight how role modelling is so effective in teaching the skill.

I am about to be a teacher for the first time (in August). I am watching your videos before school begins so I can learn what to do before it begins. Your videos are so helpful! Thank you for doing them!

Good morning - Do you have tips for special needs pre-K? Three and four year olds developmentally delayed but with more experience in their developmental level than a baby at that stage, with an attention span to match. They move from one toy to the next at rapid pace, creating more opportunities to clean up or resist clean up. Typical center switching does not work. We have approximately two hours of free time in centers. I came to this job mid year.
