She definitely deserves success more than most artists who have hit it big up to this point. I imagine it’s only a matter of time (and upgrade in taste on most people’s part) Honestly I’m just glad I came across her before her music shows up in ad campaigns or is grossly overplayed on the radio. Right now it’s like a hidden treasure only enjoyed by her unbelievably small fan base, and for now we have it all to ourselves. But soon enough the rest of the world will wake up, leading to one or more of her songs being featured in some commercial or movie trailer that runs adnauseum on every channel and streaming service. For some reason my loyalty to artists, and love for their music is significantly greater when I discover it before it becomes mainstream. It just sounds sweeter don’t you think?
Amy, don't lose the rawness of the emotions you beautifully share through your music. This song resonates like no other I've listened to. Why are so many of us not "enough" for others to love without leaving? We wake hoping for better, and go to bed that night still alone, not feeling 'enough' for someone to like or love us for who we are, even when we go so far as to make ourselves completely vulnerable.
Your music is raw, grounded, natural, earthern. Its unadulterated by what the music industry would have us believe we as consumers want. Good on you and your determination to fight so hard, to live the aspirations you knew you were capable of. AND....I absolutely love the fact you stuck it to everyone who turned you down in your latest song. Don't let the system change you or your music, there's a beauty about you just the way you are. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

I think the song is about her wanting to be loved, but also warning you that her love is intense. She wants the old fashioned lifetime commitment with someone and share the same scary emotions with them. It might not be fun all the time and will test you, but she needs someone strong enough to love her in her life.
That's just my take....
I feel like a lot of her songs reflect her expressing her deep love for someone who can't/won't give their full self back to her. Uugh, this chick is good though. ❤❤❤
The song is actually about how she herself admits that she can be a handful at times. She is in a relationship and knows that she can drive other people crazy and is very needy at times. She doesn't know how people can deal with her madness at times. That's what the song is about!❤
I agree with you Maddy Simmons- she wants to find love with someone who can accept the whole package. The sweet with the sour. A lot of people have real trouble doing that. It makes finding the ones who can such a rarity
She did an interview about this song and how personal it is to her. It's not about how hard it is for her to find love it's about how difficult she can be towards others at times. Like towards her boyfriend she said and family. Watch the interview and the video will make more sense. It's really great!!
I think once you've had the real thing (true love), you'll never go back to all that fake, surface shit. Like people who give it away easily, and "love everything", because that's who they are: they're easy. Her love is never easy, but once you've showed you truly deserve it, you'll never leave her side. It reminds me of the film "All The Real Girls", about a player who falls for a virginal girl, and she tames him and shows him what love is, and how it is removed from sex. Once he's had "the real girl", he can never feel satisfied with a whore.
