You had the same exact path as me I still go back to rain sounds once in a while but brown noise this video especially is like the final boss puts me to sleep super fast.
LITERALLY. It also clears out all the background noise from my house, it just makes my life so much easier and it encourages me to get into my flow state. In a span of a day, I submitted a semester's worth of activities, not kidding.
same but some song lyrics still pop up from time to time now for example " maybe it is all a test, cuz i feel like im the worst so i always act like im the best" .. on repeat XD the whole time
This reminds me of when I was in an office trying to work but the noise from the air conditioner was putting me to sleep ! It was so hard for me to stay awake that day . Now I’m in bed , I can enjoy the sound again and I have the satisfying feeling that it’s ok to fall asleep ! Pure bliss ! Zzzzzzzz
Amazing how fast this subdues my anxiety I absolutely love brown noise sadly I use it everyday almost severe anxiety and panic attacks consume me I hope everyone struggling finds this helpful too
I was on verge of a panic/anxiety attack, my roommate suggested this and somehow it went away! I also experience the same everyday, we all deserve some peace😌
I feel you, too. I have Hyperacusis, which, if I let it build will turn into panic quick. This sound is a lifesaver in loud places and allows me to leve the house.
It's heavy on sub-bass, this one. The primary frequency is probably around 30-45 Hz, near lowest that humans can hear, especially if you're younger than 50. This one is also in stereo with a good bit of stereo spread, which makes you feel surrounded by it.
I regularly hear this sound, camping near waterfalls and/or swollen rivers tumbling over rock. Humans were meant to hear this sound. Being absent from it is like being away from home.
is it just me or does this sounds like something you would hear when its a night flight and youre sitting next to the window in the plane. Just silence and youre just there looking into the darkness outside the window. idk but this brings a lot of memories of the night flight back to my hometown
This is a great tool for me. I use playing in the background of anything I am watching or just as background noise to everyday life to help minimize my trigger sounds (I have misophonia, a sensory processing disorder). Thank you for uploading this video.

When I listen to this, I go in to such a deep trance-like state. I feel my consciousness relaxing so completely that I begin to actually feel warmth spreading deep in my pants. It's like a comforting heat that rolls slowly down my thighs as my memories travel back to an easier time - reminding me of when I was a small child. I breathe in deeply through my nose as... ... Who the hell shit my pants?
