@OtioseFanatic You know, I actually had the footage and everything recorded for that years ago and I think I even started on the script but it got put to the back burner after this video didn't seem to really interest people lol That said, it might be fun to try again next year...
@@Wayneisboss looking forward to it! I'm a recent fan to your channel, brought in by your digimon videos, but I really enjoy your content. I'm actually watching the hot air balloon simulator game video who's name I can't remember right yet as I type this!
Haha took me a while to get back on it, between job hunting and just life in general, but I think I'm finally getting a handle on things and I'm excited to keep working on videos again!
4:30 this was a very different era of gaming. This game was released during an era where instrumention manuals not only still existed, but were also integral to understanding the lore of a franchise. Much of this was actually fleshed out in the manual for ZOE, even what the term "Enders" meant(dedicating a whole paragraph to what the "spacist" term meant. I recall the manual went into heavy and extensive detail behind the games many terms, the back story of the conflict, the discovery of Metatron and what it meant for mankind...and finally, what exactly the hell was going on with Leo and his "friends" in the game's intro. Basically those weren't really Leo's friends and were more so bullies who tricked Leo into thinking he was now a part of their group(who he joined soley to get them to stop bullying him)if he helped them sneak onto some military base for....teenage mischief. It was all some elaborate prank but they got caught and....ZOE1 happens. Also...believe it or not...that was actually a guy who was taunting and interrogating Leo. He was security, I believe. It's understanable as to why you wouldn't know this, as this information appears to only have been stated in the instruction manual. Even the wiki glosses over this and just refers to the bullies as Leo's "friends". The manual was structured in the same way that instruction manual for MGS1 was were that game explained what nanomachines were, who Big Boss was, Fox Hound etc.
I'm still trying to figure out if there was supposed to be some kind of meaning behind that or if they just thought it was a punky pun. I mean...its a ...COCKpit
Great video man, as always. And for real, I don't think numbered scores are really that important on youtube. This site really prioritizes watch-time and personality/opinion driven content while traditional media moreso relies on clicks, subscriptions and aggregate sites like Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes. So I think you've got the right idea being genuine. Honestly, numbers do more harm than good.
I definetly appreciate the feedback! I know a part of me thought of using scores at one point cause it seemed more professional but I eventually decided simply to rely on my words
Good on you for sticking to a more thought out rating. Numbers serve to confuse and diminish the actual value of a game. Also super cool seeing ZoE gameplay, like you said, it's a game everyone KNOWS OF but has never played, myself included. Looking forward to more content!
I'm hoping to work on a fun side video this week before getting into the review for the second ZoE game, a nice break of pace. Well, sort of. You'll see
Definitely looking forward to when you hit ZOE 2. It has its own little flaws here and there, but is still aasterclass game that blows the original out of the water on every front.
Great review again bud, I enjoyed watching it similar to your spider-man 3 and amazing spider-man review. All that being said I doubt I'll be watching much of your reviews for games I plan on playing in the future since you basically cover all of the plot in your reviews and thus make it less relevant for me to play them, but that's nothing to do with the quality of your videos, just my opinion on spoilers for things I plan on experiencing myself.
Absolutely understandable. I was actually considering changing up how I handle structure in future reviews and I'll probably try to keep my spoilery plot analysis set apart form the rest of the review and provide time codes that will make it easier for viewers to skip the spoilers and still enjoy the review. Thank you for your support!
That is an excellent question, friend Haha in all seriousness, I'm working on it, I just have a lot of stuff I'm trying to juggle right now. But I'm planning on releasing a small fun video before tackling the second Zone of the Enders one. Then I have some big stuff planned for later on in the year
I'm actually in the process of trying to move any Let's Play or Streaming videos I've had to their own channel called Boss Rush so I can keep the video feed on this channel a little cleaner and focused on my main content which would be my reviews. I'm hoping to have everything transferred over before too long but I was sad to find out that I actually lost one or two of the last streams I did for Breath of the Wild and since Twicth automatically deleted my archive, they're kind of gone forever now, but I still have the first 5 Streams downloaded. I actually didn't realize there was anybody looking for them so I'll do my best to have them back up on the Boss Rush channel soon!
@@Couch_Banana Absolutely! th-cam.com/channels/FVSR5w3qTG9GM63688VtBQ.html I'm still working on getting everything reuploaded here, it'll take some time
I'll be returning to the Zone of the Enders franchise one day soon! Would you like to see more from this series?
SOOOO... Is ZOE2 happening or no? We have the Mars release now you could play as well if you like.

Who else is waiting until this channel blows up?
Haha I can only dream, dude
Looks at the mech design...

Worst detail in mecha design *ever*. >:(

Ahhh mecha,
I have rarely seen any good game base on that (Except maybe one of the Power ranger game for ps2)
Hope the sequel be good!
I have a lot of reasons why I'm looking forward to reviewing the sequel...
i hear persona 3 ost
that's always a plus
Zoe and his lovely HUD.. . 💙
Sure, ZotE looks cool, but theres *NO WAY* I can take the mecha designs here seriously. *Whose idea was it to make the cockpits look like THAT?!*
The what pits? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
