I'm 54, and I agree wholeheartedly. Craig Ferguson is the best thing since... Damn, he's just the best thing. I don't blame him for moving back to Scotland, but if he comes through my city, Assmode! I'm going.
Stan was a blast on these shows. On top of being a creative genius he had the genuine wit to go along with Craig. RIP to an American treasure. My favorite character of his will always be Benjamin Jacob Grimm, The Thing.
He's already recorded cameos for the next 3 or 4 movies. Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Avengers 4. Maybe for Black Panther and Doctor Strange, too. And I don't know if they'll CGI him in to the rest, but I guarantee there will be some kind of tribute in every future Marvel movie, be it a poster or an "Excelsior!" easter egg hidden someplace.

I work the comic con in Kansas City, and when Stan was here a couple years ago, the enthusiasm was huge, thousands of people standing in line hours upon hours for a thirty second chat and a handshake. No one complained, no one regretted taking the time, and this is why. He was a great man who exuded a love for what he had created and care for the people who enjoyed it with him. It sucks that he's gone, but he lived to see Infinity War bring two billion dollars worth of happiness to the world and went out on top in a way no one else has in my memory.
I subscribed several weeks ago and have been binge watching ever since. This is brilliant, and an absolute genius tribute to the great Stan Lee! Thank you!! Sharing this onward!
Never seen Stan Lee in interviews before this. I am absolutely astounded at how good he is! Probably the best guest I've seen and I've seen a few, not all, but quite a few. Loved it. Thanks for the upload end edit :)
Holy crap. Why wasn't Stan hired to be on comedy roasts? He can tear you a new one in the best way possible! Aw, I'm gonna miss him and his rants. Excelsior, everyone.
The five stages of grief are Denial -> Anger -> Depression -> Bargaining -> Acceptance. I'm transitioning between denial and anger right now, watching this. What a guy he was! The world is suddenly a much smaller place without him.
EASILY one of the best guests he ever had on. Honestly, I was expecting a doddering old dude, but Stan was on it. The rapport between the two was on point. RIP Stan Lee.
Even Stan Lee knew comic Books were no place for 'gay Fantasy' and that's literally all they have become after his passing! Man he looked so good in 2005! RIP GOAT. i love how he was always so contentious lol
The Jayleno Fly Thank you for the great post. You are fantastic for posting this compilation. Many of us youngsters, back then, became Stan Lee fans when the first issue of Spider Man hit the bookstores. What a great relationship we had with this man and his magic. R.I.P Stan Lee.
This was surprisingly enjoyable. Probably one of my fav CF interviews now. my fav moment in this interview is the one from 17:39 to 17:58 Even Stan Lee understood the genius of Craig 🤣
You know what, I didn’t really know him so I was only a little sad but now that I know what a vivid, funny and charming individual he was I’m full on crying 😭 damn you, JayLenoFly!!
what a wonderful video. i threw this up on reddit because i wanted to share with other people how wonderful this made my day after watching it. thanks, Fly, for all the Craig Ferguson awesomeness you upload. I really appreciate it.
Well done on the quick timing of this tribute reflecting the rest of your work, he was a genuinely funny guy and his works have given many people a outlet for their more geeky attributes
Thanks, TJLF, for putting this together. Stan was so animated here, not the stereotypical hunched *ancien* that we expect. Not to be TOO morbid, but you might want to pre-compile some tributes. 2017 wasn't a fluke, just the beginning: More celebs means more "devastating" deaths later (now).
it's amazing how a person whom I've never met, had one of the biggest impact on my childhood and early adulthood, there won't be another like him, but let's hope there is one who comes close to his genius and has the same impact he had on me and many others #RIPStantheMan
Thank you so much for posting this! I've been thinking about Stan Lee all day and finding old videos and interviews and wanted to come back to watch his ones with Craig. I'm willing to bet Craig was the only Late Night host to ever have Stan Lee on
Last time I went clothes shopping I bought three pairs of the same jeans, 5 of the same shirt and two identical jackets. I know what I like. My guess is Stan Lee didn't like clothes shopping either.
I swear whenever I think your done creating videos to keep up with current events, it's like I never thought of certain people being in his show, mostly cause I'm used to his flirtatious segments, but I'm so glad you made this, I hope more people watch this, they seem to have such a strong friendship it tears my heart that he's passed away, this at least eases it a bit, Thank you. P.s. wish he could've lived just a little longer to at least finish the cinematic cameos he's been on, it was probably gonna be his final one to wrap it all up 💙 R.I.P

I read that they pre-recorded a significant number of cameos starting some years ago when his health started to fail, and even for the most recent movies he wasn't able to travel to shoot the cameos. So we may still be seeing cameos of him in upcoming movies!

Craig's show was a constant breath of fresh air amidst a cloud of stale late night conformity.
it was not all good but in a meaning that you never know what you going to get- yes. even he didnt know)
Not too many can match Craig with speedy comebacks, but Stan Lee is a Master!!
Gloria Wagener he’s about as quick or quicker than Robin Williams. I’ve never seen Craig out witted before except by Robin. This was great.
Stan Lee was a great guest!
I love that he's wearing the same clothes in both appearances, like an acutal comic character.
