    Don't blame the City? Stop forcing us to pay exorbitant taxes. Yes, the community needs to step in, but don't tell us not to blame the City. I abide by laws, treat people with respect and now more responsibility on me and fellow small business owners? Then what of those who carry on as they choose? They get a free ride? Very underwhelmed by all of this

      Its diversity

    • @Truelib99Hobbes
      @Truelib99Hobbes ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The city is absolutely to blame. By not enforcing laws or punishing the people who do this they are ABSOLUTELY inviting it. By foisting Sanctuary city status on us, they are inviting it. With some of the highest business taxes and fees in the world, the city ABSOLUTELY owes it's residents for the vibrancy they bring to this community. SF is just Fresno or Modesto without all the small specialty shops and businesses that attract tourists and bolster the city's image. Newsflash, Starbucks and Tiffany and all the other BS mall stores exist in every city in the world. It's our small businesses that draw people and make this city unique. The city leaders are absolute pos with absolutely no respect and no empathy for small businesses owners. The real victims in this city are hard working business owners and the honest service workers that keep this city moving. The city needs to quit blaming the real victims and coddling the people that are ruining. Supervisors, the governor and the mayor need to take a good hard look at themselves and the BS policies they're foisting on its citizens.

    Other cities have curtailed graffiti by limiting access to spray paint. Anyone who buys a can must be 25, shows ID, number of cans of spray paint that can be purchased at one time is limited, and the purchase is entered into a city database. Reducing availability to the taggers reduces the amount of tagging.
    Property owners can fight back by immediately painting over. I've watched a house on the corner by my condo in The Mission paint over graffiti at least twice the past summer. They keep some of the same exterior paint on hand.
