What about when keywords have so many variations ex: tow truck, tow truck near me, tow truck service, tow truck (city name), tow truck service (city name), emergency towing, emergency towing near me, etc... There are so many keywords that have so many different ways to say them and phrasing to add to them.
Do you do an ad set for each one?? or mainly just for Tow Truck Service, Emergency Towing service etc??
Group by intent in those cases! Same intent = same ad set
*I’m excited to see how these changes will impact my ad performance!*
Hi, So you recommend make different AD groups for each 10 keyword?
What bidding strategy do you recommend improving quality score quickly? Is "maximizing clicks" a valid strategy to get data faster than "maximize conversion" if some of your KWs are 3/10 at the beginning of the improvement process?
Looked useful video. For new campaign which has not less click, maximize clicks recommended to get data so then one can change to maximize conversions (if conversions enabled through Google analytics). Kw score won't depend on bid strategy but would depend in CTR, Landing page experience, Ad rank etc
How is SKAGS even an option when the keyword matchtypes are so loose?
Even with the match type adjustments, I still find them to be the most effective way to grow small Google Ads accounts (5-100k/mo)
what about headline and description? will we just use one that keyword for headline and description? Will we go with one headline and description? & If we have one landing page in which we have used all that keywords then can we use the single page for all ad copy? Thanks .
I have only one campaign with one ad group and one ad with multiple keywords and they do trigger some keywords that don’t match the ad copy so dividing that makes it a bit more personalized for a better UX. … I’ll try this out ! Thank you , i never thought of using the same keyword in different match intents usually I just left it either broad or exact and not both in the same ad but I’ll test this out
Do you have experience with web /dev agencies ? I’m running my own google ad campaign
Your style of explanation is great. Thank you.
Thanks for the feedback!
I have been ready that "SKAGs are no longer fit for purpose in the new age of automation." I have read this same heading/line so many times in past couple of months. what do you think?
New reports show that 80% of the time exact match outperforms broad.
The short answer: everything is on an anecdotal, account by account basis.
Hi, thanks for the video - really informative. Would this strategy work with a small campaign budget? Lets say $15-$30 per day.
Yes
Great vid. Really appreciate you doing this and sharing. I’m going to take your coaching offer. Talk soon.
Awesome, glad to hear it. Look forward to working with you!
Do you have experience with service area based businesses? Like contractors, attorneys and dentist?
Yes of course! 1/3 of the folks I work with are service based businesses.
Why cant I find the quality score column in Google ads?
Navigate to keywords on the left hand side and search within the edit column interface
Good vid, do you have any experience with Google Ads in the accounting industry?
Thank you! Yes, I've worked with a few firms. Being the son of two CPAs helps as well.
@@DarlingtonMediaHaha, we need to talk. Do you offer discovery calls for your services?
Hi @@DarlingtonMedia, just following up to see if you got my last comment 🙂
Yes of course, send me an email! @daandroptrop alex@darlingtongrowth.com
ive heard ppl say skags dont work anymore, whats your take on this?
My take is "they work"
Not always and it depends on your account. I try SKAGs in 100% of my managed accounts.
@@DarlingtonMedia Hmm, i see. I'll try skags in my account as an experiment then, will watch some of your videos on how to structure them properly and let you know what i find
Best of luck! @@cricketlovers4121
My understanding for skag helps on quality score is only because relevency. Am I correct? But say my product only have a few main keywords that works, there is no difference if I put all the keywords at 1 ad group.
Hi there - do you have any feedback on using landing pages with a query paramter string at the beginning to dynamically populate keywords on a landing page to help improve the quality score?
For example, instead of having to build 200 pages for different SKAG's, would adding the paramter help improve the quality score?
