All you need to see is his shooting form compared to even his teammates to know this guy was far, far ahead of his time.

Great link of Mr Clutch, the Logo, thanks for sharing! We really get a glimpse of West's great quickness, efficiency, and ability to score and share the basketball. Jerry was an unstoppable player whose game transcends eras and all the changes in the game.

Wow that quick change of pace at 1:33 and 1:35 without palming the ball! Jerry West would be an MVP contender in today's game.

Why don't they ever talk about this game. Why wasn't Clyde guarding him? By the time game 7 rolled around his hands were too numb to feel the ball or shoot. Still got 28 points

Top 3 SG in NBA history.....a slight argument can be made to maybe even as high as #2 all time to Jordan if one doesn't use the simplistic "rings" argument.
As big time a performer in the playoffs individually as any player at any position in NBA history.

Any players who dominated in the 70s are legit. 70s really was the beginning of competitive play amongst great players. Thus you didn't have the insane Wilt Chamberlain's numbers in the 70s. West would have been a great player on any era.
